Question Posted Saturday October 30 2004, 1:17 am

thanks to all who answered my first question, except Gooky of course (oh sorry,I meant Mooky). Beleieve me if I had any idea what it was, a huge load would be lifted off my mind.I failed to mention that it was a reply to a message he had sent(actually I had hoped to get a simple explanation without having to go into more detail.)Weve been together for 11years but are on the rocks at the present-something major is going on but he refuses to tell me what. I dont know if hes seeing someone else or if theres way more to it than that. Its not out of the question
that he's -well- im not going to go any further but please if anyone can tell me how to decipher these messages(there are a couple more)maybe it will shed some light on things and i can deal with it and get on with my life

It's just spam! He probably sent an email to them telling them to f**k off. If you're that worried about it then ask him.

It really is just spam, seriously. It seems that you're looking for an answer where there is none. Sometimes spam has Re: in the subject line because they want to trick you into opening the email thinking it is from someone you know. It's not a secret code, it's just a spam email.

If there's a problem in your relationship, perhaps you should ask to speak with him about it calmly. Make sure he knows that it's very important for both of you to figure out what is going on.

P.S. I even get emails in russian (which can also look like code). For instance, this is a spam email that I got today:

Еmail реклама качественно, недорого
721-62-54

Ђ

See? Looks like code, but is really just spam.

did it have "Re:" in the subject bar or did you find the message he sent to wherever it is? because if it's just "Re:" then ANYONE can put that before a subject. I still think it's just spam.

It looks like spam gone wrong. Did you see who it was from? It could be him talking to the company. I seriously doubt it's anything to worry about.
