time management

Question Posted Tuesday October 26 2004, 6:27 pm

okay, my parents think I am this golden child in college with really good grades, but if you have lived the college life, there really is no way to be a golden child in college. The only real bad thing is my time management. I am not a serious gamer, but once i start to play a game i like, i tend to keep it, and focus on it, and i keep finding good games...but pulling all nighters to get my work done...not healthy, you say? trust me, i know. i want the good grades, but it's so relaxing to just sit and fry my brain. how do i tell my playstation and computer NO, lol.

You might not like what I have to say, but I'm going to say it anyway:
You have to get rid of that playstation. Not like, completely trash it, just maybe put it a box somewhere out of your sight. Just to keep the temptation of playing it dimmed out for a little while.
As for computer games--You have to get bored of them sometime, don't you? And even if you don't, money has to be getting tight after buying all those games, right? If that's the case, then it's not only about the grades, it's about keeping enough money to get around.
So I'd say, maybe delete some of the games that you have on your computer, just for now, just for enough time to get back in the game at school. And I mean, if you have the games, you can always download them back onto your computer after you're back up there. I'd say that may be the only way you can focus on school work again.
