Once Upon a Mattress
There's a play in my school. Im interested in trying out for the main part, Winifred. Except i dont look anything like her. I can sing her solo song, shy, as good as the broadway performer, but 4 auditions we have to sing the star spangled banner. I've been practicing SHY for a long time and i'm not good at the star spangled banner! I dont no how to make my talent show singing that song, plz give me advice.

you may not know it but some people can judge on little things like how you enter a room......if you walk into the audition room confident then they are likely to think that you know what ur doing......just keep your head up and smile :)

Don't get all hung up because you think you don't look like her. There is never a totally set way a character MUST look. It's flexable. and shy is such an out there loud belty song, you should be able to sing the star spangled banner. Just pretend your singing shy. Sing it the same way.

first off, it doesn't really matter if you look like her. they'll make you look like her if your good enough.
just keep practicing the star spangled banner and maybe ask your director if you could sing Shy for her as well.

Try and work on the star spangles banner and then try out and if you dont make it hey ur better then that lol try out for another play. Or a diffrent talent show
