thats the worst thing about guys- ones that you like in that way always seem so unapproachable. my advice to you would be to start making small talk with him, and day by day, elevate your small talk into flirting. once you get comfterble just talking to him, flirting with him and acting like you like him won't be so hard.

My friend had the same exact problem, she was over obsessed w/ someone she liked.instead of staring at him ask him ask questions about his interests, if you enjoy the same things he does, you'd be a great couple and you should ask him out. If u dont have ne thing in common or he doesnt like u, find someone else who's better for u, you cant forget about boys hoo like u!

Well you could smile and wave back so he knows you're friendly. Maybe you could just say small things like 'thanks', 'how are you' and then once you've built up your confidence you could try having a real conversation.

dear roxie-
im just like you, incredibly shy when it comes to boys. if you're too shy to talk to him, write him a note and just give it to him when he delivers the paper, or leave it somewhere where he'll see it with his name. say what you want to say in person, hopefully he'll write back ;) if you need to - just say "write back" on the bottom or something! hah i bet you love getting the paper in the morning! =] -ask_anything
