Okay, I wanna get put on birth control. But, my mom doesn't know i have sex. I told her that it was to regulate my period. But see, im scared that if I go she'll find out i have sex. My friend said that they can't tell your parents if you have unless you have a disease. but shes never had sex. So my question is, If your under 18 can they tell your parents if you've had sex or not? please answer..Thanx!

If you go to the health department, then it's totally confidential. But if you go to a doctor, then I'm pretty sure that they can tell a parent. Your best bet is to go to the health department.

Nope, they can't tell your parents without your concent! If they find any diseases, than yeah, they have to tell your parents. But don't worry, they won't tell your parents without your permission! Hope I helped :)

Doctors have to take an oath to the privacy of their patients! Better safe then sorry (get the birth control!!!) the most important thing is, hun, protect urself!

Hi.. Im 15 and expiriencing with sex aswell, My mom know's though... But i know for a fact that if you go to the doctors you can check a box that says your parents dont know.. and u dont want them to.. or something like that. Thanksz
