Why don't you try looking into some institutes? I know here we have a place called Poynter which is journalism related, and some TV production.. or better yet, start something at school! Talk to your principal about starting a drama club or TV production for the morning announcements. Find out the requirements :)

Hope I helped. Please rate :)

ask your drama coach, he or she probably knows of some productions. Check around at local churches/synagogues/temples etc... many of them put on plays. If there is a small theatre in your area ask them- they may have a play for amateurs or may be willing to give you a small role.

As for TV, unless you make it on the six o clock news, I think you may need an agent. You would have to discuss this with your parents because your career could become very time consuming and costly (head shots are expensive).

I think there are some books avaliable about "how to make it" with good advice on what to expect. Check around the library or bookstore.
