depression i really didnt know what chatigory to put it under but that don really matter.. lately ive been wicked despressed.. a lotta stuff has happened.. mah boyfriend cheated on me.. then i dumped him, went out with anotehr kid, n then he admitted to me that he likes mah best friend... then he got me so fustrated i jus sat and cried for over an hour.. i used to be one of the hyperest, happiest people you could ever meet.. but no.. everyone is noticing it.. that ive changed.. how can i get out of being depressed?

This is an old cliche but it is true, Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone.
Here is the deal, medical studies prove that when we are depressed our bodies will not make the endorphines that promote happiness. The study went further and when people fake being happy it also fakes out the body and you produce these horomones and endorphines that promote happiness. So, force yourself to smile, force yourself to laugh and go through all of the actions of being a happy person even when you are alone and the body will kick in and one day you will forget that you were even unhappy.
Meanwhile, don't let boys get you down. They are like busses honey and another one will be along in about twenty minutes. I know it doesn't seem like it right now but you will get over these guys and another one will come along.
Smile and be who you used to be even if you have to fake it. Good luck...:) ]
Im really sorry for what you must be going through. I know how you feel because Ive gone through something sort of like that. It really just takes time..Im not talking about acouple of weeks, im talking bout months or even up to a year or s0..I know that it sucks, something that helped me was writing pOems, etc...getting my feelings out on paper. But something i wouldnt do is make it clear to everyone that u are feeling like this..Meaning, if you have aol instant messanger, dont put depressed little away messages or sad stuff in your profile, then its like youre trying to get attention, and no one wants to help out a person who is trying to get attention you know? If I were you,just wait and give yourself as long as you need to recover from this period of life youre living in..Think about the future, and how good your life is going to be..Everytime you feel sad try tellig yourself this, "this is just a sad period of my life..i cant wait until i get outta highschool and move away and meet my soul mate..everythingll be perfect" and it will be perfect..trust me

It seems like your depression is mostly about guys ( since you didnt mention any other cause I will assume this). Try to concentrate on other things in life, guys can be such jerks but don't let that ruin your life. Tell your parents, maybe they'll let you see someone if you are having a deifficult time carrying out your everyday life. Hope this helped!

Try to forget about your ex-boyfriend like throw away all your notes, AIM convo's, photo's, and etc. Do something fun!! Hang around with your friends, go to the mall and the movies, go shopping with your friends, and have a sleep over with all your friends too!! Those are just some ideas! Hope I helped :) ]
Depression can really suck. I really think that you should talk to someone that you really trust, like parents or a best friend. They can help you get through it. Or you could even try talking to your school conselor... you can trust them ]
Go do something with your friends.
