Shelves
I have theses shelves that go all around my rooms and have pegs on them. any decorating tips? I don't know what to put on them!

I read other people's answers, and I think everyones basicaly coming up with the whole "go crazy, put whatever you want on the shelves, yay...thorpies, beenie babies, stickers...whoopie have a ball!" But if you are looking for something more decorative then maybe try going to Michaels...and get some vases. If they are just plain clay or pottery, paint then the color of your bed spread, a main color of your room. If you stick to the same color, with different shades it will seem more organised. Then try putting picture frames, or jewlrey boxes in between the vases. You cna put flowers or leave the vases empty. And i think if you are going to put flowers in a few of the vases (real, or fake if you dont feel liek taking care of them) then you can press/dry out come flowers and hang them upside down in the hooks...I saw that on Barefoot Contessa. AWESOME! I wish i had shelves! you should put anything micellanenous on top, and put like notes and stuff on it. ALSO, you can PAINT THEM! Tape cute celebrities, pictures of friends, family, pets over them. Display trophies. go crazy. :]

depending on the colors in your room you can paint them to match and out books on them and if you a low budget person then you could go to a thrift shop or a salvation army store and pick up little nick nacks and store them on you shelfs. You can make your room in to a globel room but going to someplace like burlington coat factory if you have on out where you live and but things from all over the whole on the shelves like some africa artifacts on one shelf some chinese artifacts and so one and so forth. i hope i helped <3 LisaLeilani

Well, you could do a lot with that. You could paint the selves to coorelate with the color of your room or the color of your comfortor on your bed. Also, if your room already has a theme to it you could add lil' knick knacks pertaining to the theme. If it doesn't have a theme, you could get some picture frames of different colors (or colors that you like or that match your room) and put pics of your family and friends it it. (You can get cheap pic frames at walmart or even the dollar store). You can also get a cute lil lamp to put on one the selves. and you could even decorate the lap shade by adding like beads (just apply them with a hot glue gun) or anything creative like that. You could also put things that are memorable to you, like your first stuffed animal, trophies, awards, etc. Put things on your self that express who you are. Next time you are out at ANY store just look for thing that represent who you are. Usually lil' minatures nad things like that aren't too costly. Good luck! :)
