LICE?!?!
I just heard of a friend that if you cut your pubic hairs it heightens the chance of getting lice down there. This has shocked me because I myself cut them because of their length, and I am getting concerned about this. I was wondering if anyone knew any information about this, or any good sites where I could find out some information. Im totally flippin out about this lol. I'm a 17 year old male by the way. Any advice would be good. Thanx :-)

HaHa! nOPe nOt at all... the only way that ur gonna get crabs is by having sex with a girl who has it... but i did hear about a story of a girl who went tanning and they didnt clean the bed and the person be4 her had crabs and she got them!~ hahaha sIcK... but thats a one in a million chance.. dont worry about it... just make sure the girl u get down with is crab free!

I've never heard of getting lice down there, but lets just say I'm quite clean down there and I do cut them and I've yet to see lice there. Lice are attracted to clean hair. Normally on the top of your head by the back of your head and near your neck is where you'll be itchy. But getting lice near your dong? Never heard of it. And if it's true, you'd be able to see them. They are little blackish brown bugs like the size of baby ants crawling around there. Gross. Hope this helped!

I've never heard that before, I really don't think that trimming your pubic hairs will heighten your chance of getting lice -- unless your hand or the sissor/razor had lice on it! =)

dude preatty much the only way your gonna get lice in your pubes is if you have sex with a dog. and even then its a smaller chance if your pubes are shorter lol. your friend was just messing with you i have been cutting them for a couple of years and no lice yet lol.

That is the mmost ridiculous thing I ever heard. Please don't take offense, but that friend of yours is a dipshit. Cutting your hair back will actually make it HARDER for you to get pubic lice. The only way to get pubic lice is by your genitals coming in contact with them. You would either need to have sex with a person who has them, borrow undies or a swimsuit from a friend that has them, or dip your nuts in a jar of them. Tell your friend he's retarded and that chicks dig trimmed pubes because it makes your schlong look LONGER when the hair is cut back.

This sounds like a tall tale. Lice are creatures that you get when you come into contact with them. They won't appear out of no where because you don't have much hair. I'm not a doctor or anything, but I think you'd be more likely to get it -without- shaving.
Although, who knows, there -may- be some truth in it, I'd look it up.
