14/f. I think I have a genuine problem with crushes. I just can't stop crushing on new guys. I like everyone and everybody. My current crush count is around 9 and it just keeps growing. I like all kinds of different guys, and even 2 brothers! I also like 3 of my brother's friends! Is there something wrong with me? Is this normal? Is it possible that I make this stop? I'm so torn.
Mercy_x_Me answered Monday October 4 2004, 10:21 am: woooah. Im not sure if i read that correctly but if you like 2 of your brothers thats bad. Id see a psychologist so you can talk your feelings out. You probably dont have a stop button, like everytime you see a cute guy or hes simply nice to you you automatically crush on him for no reaosn. Just learn the difference between "crush" and "cute". Dont go crushing on someone unless he's got an amazing personality, makes you laugh, is cute, and basically the next thing to perfect. Keeping your standards high will definetly help you out-- gotta remember not a lot of guys are mr. perfect.

Trust me,it happens! It's not like you're acting on all of these crushes, and doing something nasty like sleeping around with all these guys,it's just crushing!!I think it'll stop when you find that right guy who you just can't seem to get out of your mind, who seems so much hotter and sweeter, and plain ole' better than the others!!Until then,I say enjoy the butterflies guys give you and have fun!! ;) [ ShOrTnSwEeT42094's advice column | Ask ShOrTnSwEeT42094 A Question ]
EasilyAbashed18 answered Monday October 4 2004, 1:02 am: Well I was the same exact way once. And I mean I am your age so I still am. But the thing with me is that I found some one who had everything in all the guys I was crushing on. But I know us only being 14, its okay to have alot of crushes. The only thing to do is just not let it get completly out of hand. But having 9 crushes isn't bad at all, I would say if you got to 20..then maybe think aboot for getting about some of your crushes. Okay well hope that helped.

behindxthesexeyes answered Sunday October 3 2004, 11:42 pm: Oh man, the whole commitment thing. My friend has this same problem, she's just so flirty and close with every decent guy she comes across. It may be hormones, but more then likely you will find somone just right for you. Just don't lead on the guys too far as to think that you have deep feelings for them, and then leave them for someone else. Then you will get a bad reputation and I'm sure your a great girl =)
xluvinux answered Sunday October 3 2004, 11:20 pm: it looks like your just going boy crazy. once your hormones settle down, you will not like so many guys. dont let all these crushes distract you! if you like one guy more than the rest, you should go for him.

anonymous_lil_me answered Sunday October 3 2004, 10:39 pm: It's absolutely normal! I'm 15 and I have tons of crushes. Don't let ANYONE tell you its not. You're young and your meeting new guys, it's a great experience. Crushes are always going to happen, grow and then fade away. Don't worry about it. If you really like one particular guy though, go for him! hope i helped hun xo [ anonymous_lil_me's advice column | Ask anonymous_lil_me A Question ]
