Ok, I just started becoming closer friends with this girl this year, and now she WON'T STOP CALLING ME!! Like, every single day, twice a day! I don't wanna talk on the phone with her every day. How do I get her to stop calling without hurting her feelings?
Sunshine answered Tuesday September 21 2004, 3:00 am: Blame it on your parents. Tell her that your parents don't like for you to talk on the phone much, so she shouldn't call to often. [ Sunshine's advice column | Ask Sunshine A Question ]
MoonFisher answered Monday September 20 2004, 10:39 pm: Caller ID and just don't answer. She's calling because she has the hots for you.
This person rated me and left this response:
"Ummmmm....she cant really have the hots for me since i am a girl..... but...ok... "
Well, now, how about we TELL PEOPLE what our age and sex are when we ask our questions. You give ME a low rating because YOU provide inadequate information. BTW, quit being a homophobe. Being a girl has no effect on whether or not someone likes you. Walk headstrong into the new millenium and quit hating. [ MoonFisher's advice column | Ask MoonFisher A Question ]

XxRockon answered Monday September 20 2004, 9:14 pm: oo thats a tough situation. I guess the only way to really do it is to avoid her when she calls and if in school she asks u about it just says that you were busy or you didn't get the message. If you still wanna talk to her and stay friends you can call her and make a plan so she wil lknow you wanna hang wit her and maybe she will feel confident with ur freienship and not call that much [ XxRockon's advice column | Ask XxRockon A Question ]
liddylflirtx3 answered Monday September 20 2004, 9:05 pm: I know it's mean, but if you have Caller I.D. and can see when she's calling, just don't pick it up! If not, when she calls say that you're busy with homework or something and that you'll talk to her in school.
If she asks you in school why you never talk on the phone, just say you don't like the phone or something! But, if you don't want to lie about it (which I completely understand) just tell her that you don't want her to call everyday because you can't be on the phone 24/7 and your parents don't like you being on the phone all the time.
mysticpixie05 answered Monday September 20 2004, 8:34 pm: just tell her you have things to do. tell her that your busy and that you got to go. you could tell her that your grounded from the phone and cant talk.
Or you could just tell her the truth... tell her that you can be friends but you have a life and have other things to do then talk on the phone with her all the time.
Good Luck [ mysticpixie05's advice column | Ask mysticpixie05 A Question ]
