If a guy tells you he really wants to go out with you, when it comes to the time where he wants to "do stuff" just say that you feel like you're not ready. If he dumps you within two weeks, then you know he was just in it to get shit from you. Sorry!
But, if he stays with you until you say you're ready, then he's in it because he really likes you and wants to be with you! =)

Only one way to be sure . You want to know the truth then go straight to the sources mouth . Ask him if he's using you and ask him anything that may be bothering you . This is important and if he doesn't understand it, then to hell with him . You need to know if he's ready for a committment and communication is the only way( 100% way you'll know the truth) you'll know the truth . Talk to him and if he doesn't like it , he isn't really going to last that long in a relationship with you if you're actually looking for a commitment .
