Personally it didn't work for me! I have naturally curly and thick hair and it went totally wild!!! Maybe if you put the right products in when you come out of the shower, like a frizz serum(I reccomend John Frieda)and a good spray gel!! I hope it works out better for you though!! ;)

It works just like any other hair product would. In fact, the whole "therma" idea is a marketing ploy - it doesn't really have magical heat activated properties. If you read the ingredients of it, it's just like any other hair product. I think the whole thing is fairly amusing.

Yes, in short Thermasilk does work under those circumstancaes; however, thermasilk if not applied in the appropriate moderation can make your hair look oily and peicey..YUCK. I would suggest you to try BioSilk($9 at Ulta or Sally Beauty Supply) and apply it only to your ends NOT your roots (just like you would Thermasilk). Then after you let it air dry spray Biologe Thermal Active Setting Spray($10-15 Ulta, Sally, or Salon) then straighten. This protects your hair from getting damaged by a straightener and it also makes your hair stay straight and frizz free with out making it feel stiff like hair spray would. :)

no. if you let it air dry then you have to apply their hair syrum or leave in conditioner cream stuff before you straighten it.
