I cut but i wanna stop cause its gotten so bad i cant even hold crap any more ... any advice on how

You say that you cut but you haven't said why. Most of the time people cut to try and numb the emotionall pain that they are going through. Until that pain is dealt with your cutting problem is probably not going to go away. However you do that is up to you. The fastest and easiest way is to seek counseling but that is a huge step to make. If you are truly tired of hurting yourself then you should get help. If not then you should go over in your own mind the things that you are trying to numb and deal with those things. Many times people can deal with that alone. I had a good friend that cut himself for years and when he finally stopped drinking and dealt with what was bothering him he was able to stop. He started going to AA and that was a place to vent his frusterations with his family. The family problems are still there but he has learned to understand that he can't change them and he distances himself from them. He didn't cut them out of his life he just limits his time with them and when things start to head down the same old path he leaves and finds other distractions to take his mind off of how much that they try and hurt him. I would recommend counseling but until you are ready for that step it is unlikely that it will help. Until then try and figure out why you try and numb the emotional hurt and find ways to deal with that and I think the cutting will cease.

cutting is the equivalent of a mentally additing drug, that means that by wanting to stop you are already more than halfway there. i personally would not recommend telling parents because they might freak out and send you to a center. i dont know all the fact about cutting but from waht i know its a way of releasing emotional pain so my advice is to stay away from emotional pain. substituting something for it would also be a way to stop though you will end up addicted to whatever you replace it with. something else you can try is eating hot peppers, they will sting your mouth a little bit and then release endorphins which will make you happier. um i dont have anything else.

scream into your pillow and chew gum when you get angry or sad and.you could also keep a diary or journal about your feelings.hope i helped. :)

ok... I remember when I used to Cut... I never went to a doctor or wutever but what I did was wore a rubber-band around my wrist and every time I would feel stressed out I would snap the rubber-band against my wrist till the stress went away. It kept me from cutting and it was still pain and my friends even told me they were happy cuz I found a good way to do things! Hope I helped!

I (really hate admiting this) but I used to do the same thing. It's a pain you can control, and it becomes extremley addicting. The first step is admiting the problem and telling someone. I know its hard, but once you do, you will feel so much better about how to solve it. I un-fortunetly had a horrible psycologist who didn't help at all, but maybe your parents or doctor can send you to someone who you can be compatible with. It's a struggle, but with help, you can become a new person, physically and mentaly.

If you tells oemone that you want help then there are many ways to get help from this!!! You really need to stop that too its extremely dangerous!!!
