jokerzgrl answered Thursday August 26 2004, 2:24 pm: Its best to start off working for neighbors around the neighborhood, thats what I tell everybody. But if you want a job-type job, try www.teens4hire.com and see what they have in your area. See if you have life skills or Career planning at your school, so they can teach you how to do an interview, its not that hard, but if you have a hard time with public speaking, well...you might want to practice.

Try looking online or checking out local places around where you live to see who's hiring and what ages, or maybe look in your newspaper or something. xocheercutie89 answered Thursday August 26 2004, 12:47 pm: babysitting is the perfect job. you can type up some flyers and post them around town. if you don't want to babysit, i know the mcdonalds here hires when you're 14, and a few gas stations do, too. i think babysitting is the best choice though. if it's at night, once the kids are asleep, you can do homework and get other things done. hope i helped. =) [ xocheercutie89's advice column | Ask xocheercutie89 A Question ]
