jealousy has taken over
well i have these two friends. in fact they are my best friends. we are all bffs and so there is one girl named alissa and the other one is micheal. well alissa went out with micheal for a while and then they broke up. then alissa went out with micheals best guy friend, dan. then they broke up and like now alissas mom told her she couldnt have a bf. well now micheal is the only guy that alissas mom likes so she said that micheal was the only one alyssa can go out with. now i just know they are going to go out. i mean it is going to ruin everything because like i sorta like micheal but he only thinks i do as a friend...and i am not going to tell him that i do because i just cant and that wouldnt change anything beetween us or anything so yea. they havent gone out yet but like i kinda am getting the hint from both of them that they are so idk...someone plz help me. i dont want them to go out. i am second choice. i even know it! alissa told me that micheal said that and now im just so...not really jealous but jealous...if you know what i mean. any advice?

I'm sorry that all your best friends are going out with each other and you like micheal. I think you should let them know that you don't want them to go out. And you should tell Micheal that you like him. If they trully are your best friends then they will both understand how you feel. Even if telling Micheal doesn't change anything between you two at least he knows you have a reason for not wanting them to go out.

The beginning sucks..just keep reading.
Now, what i would do is the cowardly thing, not say a thing, have my heart ripped out, watch my best friends together when i think it should be me. But you SHOULD NOT DO THAT! You need to go to Micheal and say, you know i really feel uncomfortable with you and alissa going out cuz i really like you as more than a friend. Look him in the eye when you say this and then well you have 2 choices, walk away and see if he comes after you to talk this out or stay there and see what he says..personally i'd walk away and then see what happens. Make sure if you do stay, to look him in the eye the entire time..if he looks away try to catch his eye so he knows ur serious. Don't look away it's hard i know but DON'T.
I know this will be hard on alissa if anything changes from ur doing this so if anything does change your favor (or for the better for you) then you should talk to her about ur feelings. Trust me, if she's your best friend she'll step down. I've stepped away from guyz for my best friends and never regretted it cuz they are now soo happy. Good luck with whatever happens. It seems to me like you need to have a talk with your *two best friends!* After all, if they are your BEST friends who else are you gunna talk to? It also seems like Alissa might just be going out with Michael because she really wants to date but mom only approved one guy. So if they do end up going out, i wouldent worry about it. Chances are it wont last long, if her mom starts letting up a little.
