Karen answered Wednesday August 25 2004, 4:52 pm: It's alright, don't be scared and worried. Ya, periods are really gross. Yours might last for 3-7 days. You should start by wearing pads for the next couple periods. Always mark down where your period starts and ends on a calendar so you know whenn your period is coming. If you have any questions, you always have your mother if you need any help. Hope I helped and good luck :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]

a periode lasts about 3-6 days... and if u first start out you might wanna use pads..
There will be a little cramping/bloatiness
Keep yourself really clean.. take 1-2 showers daily to clean yourself really well alright.. and
mark down the day it started and ended like on a calender so u can keep track when you are gonna get your next one..
If you feel kinda weird talking to your mom, friends are the next best thing!
