contacts..
i just got contacts on saturday and i like them alot and everything but the thing is i can't really see that good with them on. i don't know if i put them on wrong or my eye doctor gave me the wrong prescription. is it normal not to be able to see for the first couple of days you get contacts? or did i do something wrong?
p.s.- i always put the right contact in the correct eye... i have it in an order so i know that they are going in the right eye.

well personally i cant see as well with my contacts in vs. glasses, but its not that much different. sometimes it takes like an hour for mine to fully adjust in and you do not wanna wear them over 8 hours

YEah IT usually takes time to get used to them- When I fIRst GoT mINE i couldnt even read up close at all everything was blury but then it got alot better! but if its not any better in a couple days contact the doctor and tell him- cuz maybe u need a diff perscription-

Maybe you should get your eyes rechecked. My doctor always give me a sample pair to wear for two weeks before ordering my perscription to see if we got it right.

you might not have put them in right. i've had them in for almost a year and just this morning that happened to me. take them out and put them back in your eyes again. if thats not the problem, go to your eye doctor.

ofcousre it is perfectly normal, i have contacts myself and it i couldn't see out of them for awhile to, so everything is A.O.K.

when i first got contacts i had a little bit of trouble adjusting to them i found it hard to focus on things and when i tried to read things especially on the computer things seemed a little blurry but that eventually went away as my eyes adjusted
you should go in for a check up about a week or two after you get your contacts though to make sure that everythings fine

well .. if they are inside out then it would pinch really badly .. its prolly just because theres either something on them or you're adjusting .. i just got contacts August 5th but i didnt have a problem seeing

Well, I am guessing that they are cleaned? So that you are able to see..but yeah, I'm not sure what could be wrong, tell your parents, or go back to your doctor and see if he knows..hope I helped..good luck! <3

i got contacts too. the first couple of days i couldnt really see that great with them in the my eyes either. my docter told me that i was just like that because your eyes are trying to adjust to having something in them. and if it doesnt get any better then call you docter. but thats all i can tell u!

maybe you have the contacts inside out...although then it wouldnt really stay in. you should go back and have it checked.

You should go back to ur doctor and ask him y u can hardley see.You might of gotten the wrong kind.Or mayb u r just putting them on wrong and u dont relize it.Hope this helped!

I have contacts to i'v had them for a while...maybe there inside out ..you can tell when u take them out because when inside out the edge is more v shaped and when not inside out its more smooth lyk a bowl. If you still cant see them maybe you should contact ur eye doctor.
