Who here has a friend (including family member) who has had depression?
This includes the full spectrum of things such as: aenorexia, bulemia, traumatic abuse disorder, manic depression (bipolar).
I believe it is important to educate youth about this stuff because more than 25 percent of people will be disabled for some time of their life with depression!
Thanx!

He was always cutting and tried to commit suicide several times. He had a constant feeling of hopelesness, and always wanted to die.
He's on his meds now and he's fine. The key was getting help. He no longer cuts, and never even thinks about suicide. He's not over-the-top happy, but he jokes and laughs, and is generally in a good mood. He is so much better now.
