Am I Shrinking?

Question Posted Friday August 6 2004, 12:41 am

I am 15, about 5' 8" and only weigh 105lbs. I know that is really skinny or w/e and it's kinda scaring me. In a 1 year time period (from when I was 14 until 15.) I gained about 20 pounds. I went from being 95lbs to about 115lbs. I'm a dancer and didn't like that 115lbs, so I tried 2 lose just a lil weight 2 get down to 110lbs. I got 2 my goal and then stopped trying 2 lose weight, the only thing is, since then I seem 2 keep losing weight and now I'm @ 105lbs. Does any1 know wut's going on?

well this doesn`t quite answer yur question but.. when yu wanted to lose weight the first time, did yu become anerexic or balemic? cuz if yu did, it`s wiicked hard to stop!! but first, try eating three meals and at least two snacks and see if yur weight changes in any way.. if it gets any lower tho, yu have to tell someone because it could be serious.. good luck

The fact that you're athletic, or a dancer provides exercise. Therefore, you tend to lose weight. Though being as tall as you are, and weighing as little as you do, I think you'll be alright. Keep an eye on it though, and make sure you're eating right. Why the hell would you want to lose weight at 115 anyway? Are you crazy? Yeah, you'll be alright. Dancer's represent!

Your body is still burning fat. You're a dancer so you're burning some serious calories. Continue eating right, and stay active. Aside from that its perfectly normal. Trust me, I'm an athlete, and I've done my homework.
