Changing....
Hii.. im 13 years old, and im kinda changin my style. i wanna get a punkiish style, i've been taken guitar lessons for over 2 years... and now im in a band, and havn't really picked up the style yet, still stuck in that gurly faze... so i need some really good advice on like where to shop, and what kinda stuff i would buy... s0o can you please help me!!!! ~*~ i rate ~*~ thankx, lots of love <33

You can't just <i>pick</i> a style and actually be it. It's just sad, and what some people call "poseur" or "wannabe" and "a fake." Either way...just be yourself. Is there something wrong with that?

why are you trying to change your style from what you ARE to what you WANT to be? if you don't know what to buy already, then it's not you. you can't buy something because it's a certain style and then expect to be comfortable in it. be yourself, and i'm sure you'll be more successful. :)

if you're really lookinq for a punk style, some cool places to shop are hot topic or demo. i used to be in that staqe so i kno these thinqs lol. but punk is really just the statement of how you feel. it's necessarily aqainst the world, but not for all the happy hearted thinqs that qirly qirl people would like. so you really need to take a qood look at the type of person you are before you decide that you wanna chanqe your style. you can be the biqqest prep but still play the quitar nd be in a band, that does make a true statement. hope this helps.

The punkish style is based on how you like for yourself to look, what makes YOU comfortable. You can try Hot Topic for some starter clothes, but please do not get stuck to that brand. cause after a while, you might get the name "poser" stuck to you if you are just shopping there to fit in. Get chlothes that YOU like, don't just get them cause it's the in thing.

try hot topic. and if you wanna stay a little girly still, buy a pink belt with studs and a pair of pink chucks. and a bunch of stuff that will go with it like pink tees or tees that have pink logos on them. pink is really easy to find now at days. and i think you will look cute.

u can shop @ hot topic, buy like big black pants, do ur hair in lil twisties n dye it a funky color, wear fuck bracelets, wear alotta black ,not a whoel bunch of jewelry unless its like hardcore, paint ur nails blakc, lol tht all i can think of cuz im not punk but hope i helped!

okay go to a hot topic buy the punk clothes with chains pockets zippers and punk looking.. get the spikey braclets and belts.. try dyeing your hair a different color and get funky clothes.. you can always make punk style the way you want it!! hope i helped
