i like this kid let say his name is steve..and i hooked up with him last year and he asked me out but i got scared because yah i liked him alot..so i made up an excuse and said some1 told me he was a player..and he got real mad and we stopped talkin then this year we started talkin again..and he told my friend that he has liked me since the day he first saw me...and he never stopped liking me...and he is soo sweet to me..but hes an asshole to everyone eles but hes soo hottt...and the other day his friend lets say bob..said to me u kno i like u right..and i didnt kno what to say cuz i love steve..and i only like bob as a friend...and 2 of my friends that kno them have diff opinions
1st friendd...go out with bob hes a good bf i kno that and steve is a jerk (juss keep in mind steve hates her)
2nd friend...steve is wicked hot but an asshole
bob is ugly but nice
then bob told me to chill with steve and see what happens between us...but i dont wanna waste my time if something doesnt happen...but i think i love steve

If 'steve' is an asshole to everyone else BUT you THATs what matters! You like him right? so date him, see how things work out, cut yourself some slack! He likes you and thats cool so now take things slow. Tell him that you want to get to know him (dating or as friends). good luck!

Does it really matter what he's like around everyone else? You're not everyone else. Just as long as he's not an asshole to you, it should be good. I mean, if you love him, it really shouldn't matter to you what everyone else thinks about him, it only matters what you think about him. If you think that he's a great guy, then totally go for it. Some day you're gunna realize that the only one who's thoughts should really matter are your own.
And on the Bob issue, just tell him that you'd rather be his friend. Simple as that!

"Bob" sounds a lot nicer than "Steve". Still, you should probably try to get together with Steve. If he's nice to you and you like him then that's what really matters. I say hang out with him and see how things go and if they work out then great and if not, then you will still have Bob to fall back on. Bob sounds like a nice guy, and nice guy's usually wait around for the girl to decide on who they want.

If hes an asshoel to everyone else, chances are he wont like forever. Becareful because if you read in magazines there are alot of relationships that boys are horrible to other people for numerous reasons and eventually dont love you. They could abuse rape or even try to kill you. if he loved you when you called him a player he wouldnt stop talkign to you or get pissed he would calmly tell you that we wasnt and how muc he cxared for you. my advice, if you liek this bob guy go out with him.

i think you need to be honest with everyone by letting "steve" kno you like him, maybe you're the good influence he needs to become a good guy! (and explain to "bob" that you've liked steve for a long time, before you even knew that he ("bob") liked you)
