ok i know this is in the wrong category but.. in about a week im going to the eye doctor... and im 99.9% sure im going to be getting contacts for the first time.. what i want to know is do contact hurt after so long wearing them or.. do they easily fall out somehow.. an stuff like that.. please help! thanx.. ((i rate good))

No, they don't just fall out. It takes a while to get used to, though, and you have to be careful about keeping them clean.
Personally, I like having my trusty pair of glasses around for lazy days, because contacts can be a pain in the ass.
For future reference, maybe you should put your questions in the right category before you submit it, as well.

they might feel weird the 1st day or 2 and soon u wont even be able 2 feel them and no the shouldnt fall out easily...they should stay in...hope this helps!!:]

hey..i just got my contacts this year..they dont hurt your eye unless there's something on the contact itself..before you put it in your eyes make sure you clean it really welll with a good solution that you can get from walmart or somethin..don't worry about them falling out..they wont unless you rub your eye a lot. make sure you wash your hands before you put in and take out your contacts and clean them after you wear them to get all of the deposits off..i hope i helped ya a lil..if ya need to know n e thing else jsut ask me!! *kaci*

Your contacts might bother you for like the 1st and 2nd day you wear them but u will get really use to it! They like barely ever fall out..i mean you can take showers with them go swimming take naps do whatever you want to!

i have contacts. they dont really hurt if you sleep in them for a night by accident or something but if you constantly leave them in they start burning and your eyes will water a lot. thats about it but if yuo leave them in when they burn and your eyes water they mite roll up in your eye, ive had them for 1 year and a 1/2 and that has happened to me 2 times and then i got them to come down by massaging the top of my eye lid. good luck. ther not that bad.

After a while contacts will not hurt at all. The only time they hurt is when your eyes are dry or when something like dirt or dust goes into them. Contacts are made to stay in your eyes so no they wont fall out. when your eyes are dry you might want to put eye drops in them. Dont worry the eye doctor will teach you everything about them!

Contacts don't hurt your eyes unless you don't take care of them. Make sure they are clean of any speck of dust before inserting in your eye. They do tend to get dry if you wear them too long which can become uncomfortable. And I wouldn't recomend sleeping with them in, they tend to get glued into you're eyes and it hurts trying to remove them. Also don't rub your eyes too much with them in. I have had contacts fold in my eyes, and it is very difficult to find them.

as longs as u don't sleep with them in (that could really hurt and scratch ur eye, trust me my nayber had to wear an eye math for a month)
and as long as if ur swimmin, u either need goggles, or just don't open ur eye under water
my brother tried gettin his contact out after swimmin and opening his eyes under water to see, well in the end his eye turned super red, and he found out that it fell out in the water
other then that, ur good, trust me CONTACTS, way better then glasses, i have glasses, because im not allowed to wear contacts cuz my eyes aren't bad enuff, actually my eye doctor said, that my eyes are gettin better, and that i mite be goin abck to 20/20 :-D
sorry, off subject, but as longs as u don't fall asleep with them in (unless u get a certain kind) and as long as while swimmin ur eyes r closed, or u have goggles, then ur good :-D:-P:-)

contacts aren't bad at all, but don't sleep with them if you aren't supposed to cuz i know people who got infections and stuff from that...and NEVER put it in inside out cuz it'll hurt like a mofo haha (u can tell it's inside out when there's a little rim around the outside)

Good question. I have contacts and trust me they are way better than glasses. I only need to take mine out once a week, which is easy. They don't hurt at all and you dont notice they are in. They'll only come out if you rub your eyes a lot and hard or something large goes in your eye. Your eyes may get dry but you just put saleen in them and it is better.
