Denial2

Question Posted Monday July 26 2004, 11:31 am

I had asked a question about denial..and I thought I would elaborate to make it easier to comprehend the question. Just for your knowledge and information, I am a 14 year-old girl. Someone was saying I have muscle tone in my cheeks and I was like what!? Then he said "Denial is the first stage?" What does this mean? Thanks!

huh... that is a very strange thing to say- "You have muscle tone in your cheeks". Well, he probably doesn't even know what he's saying. Saying denial is the first stage is one of the stages of acceptance- usually for something you lost or for something that died. So to say that you're in denial of facial muscle tone.....yeeeeeah...he doesn't know what he's saying.

denial means that u don't want to admit sumthing thats true
or that u don't want to believe it, but whatever that person said, made absolutely NO sense, denial isn't the 1st stage of anything, odd

Denial means that you know that it's true, but you don't want to admit it. You don't want to except the fact that it's true, so you hide it and try and deny it, hence the word, denial.

its just a saying. It means that if you deny something then you probably did it and are just avoiding the subject.
