belly button piercing
ok, i really want to pierce my belly button for my 14th bday, but my mom keeps saying she doesnt like the idea. and my dad said no. i really want it, what should i do to convince them, or whatever? thanks so much

Do some research and show your parents that you're educated about your decision, and it's something you REALLY want to do. Tell them that if anything bad happens as a result of it, it can be taken out + the hole will close up and everything. If they still say no, respect their decision and stop bothering them about it, maybe they'll let you get it done when you're older.

I have the same problem... my parents said No until i move out...
try getting ur ears pierced (if u dont already have it done... or wanna get it done again) and show them that u know how to take care of it and keep it clean..
or even make a deal with them... like if u get your ears pierced... ask them ... " if i can keep my ears from getting infected until its time to change my earings... will u consider letting me get my belly button pierced?"

DO NOT DO IT!!! and u wont be able to change their minds they have your best intentions in mind and you are only 14...maybe you should wait a year or two until they say yes or you move out...if you do it you will most deff be grounded and that isnt worth it just to look cool...you should try and show that you are responsible and can take care of things before you get it done

Firstly, try to convince your parents by saying that you are old enough, and if they still say no, respect their decision. You might also wanna check out some of the effects, because having a belly button piercing might seem cool, but you can easily get an infection.

hey!! well...im not sure wut u can sey to them about them lettin u get it done but ima just tell u outa of all the percings i have(i have muh ears lip tongue eyebrow nd bellly buttin) my belly buttin hert the most and its VERYY hard to keep un-infected!!! =/ and like after i got it periced i couldnt even like sit it hert sooo bad!! =/ i just thought u shud no k ttyl (((rate me)))

Ok well my friend is having the same promblem..her mom wont let her get it done and she really wants it and everyone else has it done. She said that shes going to tell her mom that if she doesnt let her get it done then shes gonna go and have her friend do it..shes not really going to have her friend do it..shes juss saying it..i would ask yer mom when you can get it done like if u pay fer it er sumthing like that.
