Talk to him..tell your dad how you feel..i don't know how old you are, maybe he thinks your too young?..but if your not, then you HAVE to talk to your dad, explain to him that your a girl and it's NORMAL to have boyfriends and you'd appreciate it if he'd except the fact that your dating and not get so mad about it?..or maybe compromise...say you know that it bothers him that your dating, but you are old enough (?) to do so, so you're willing to keep your dating life to yourself if he's willing to back off a little..do you understand what i mean..? hehe i tried to explain that as best as possible..well hope i helped good luck..let me know how things went and feel free to ask me questions anytime.

He's just being a dad. He's trying to protect his little daughter. He needs to see that you are growing up. Don't worry about "dad" he will just have to accept the fact that you are growing up and that you will be getting boyfriends.

Your father is just being protective. Fathers are very protective of their daughters. How old are you? That could be a factor in his going-off-ness.

Hmm... thats always tough telling your dad you have a boyfriend. But when you do get a boyfriend or you like a guy, tell your dad. Sit him down and be like "Dad, I just wanted you to know that I like this kid name ______ I wanted to tell you so you didn't find out and you got mad. I hope you accept this because I really like him a lot." Just say something that will tell you you have a boyfriend or that you like someone. If you still need help, just ask! =D Good luck hun!!
