Jessie1734 answered Sunday July 11 2004, 6:44 pm: It depends how much calorie in-take you take in a day. If you write down what you eat every day and the calories in each product you will have a easier eating habit. Try taking in 1200 calories a day and excercise 30 minutes a day. If you stick to this is will lose weight and have a more healthier eating style.
(It also depends what your weight and height are, if you tall and light don't pressure yourseld to much, that can cause serious problems)
hi this is the person who just gave u advice's friend kelly..im going to giv u some advice too. ok well find out how many calories u take in normally, and u have to reduce 500 calories from ur normal diet. replace that bagel for breakfast with a fruit bowl or healthy cereal or something. eat healthy and exersise. be careful tho, asnd make sure u have a reason to go on a diet. i also no the special k diet, its when u have a bowl of special k for two meals and the other meal normal. dont eat dessert. or u can hav a normal breakfast n dinner and replce lunch with half a turkey sandwhich or something. if u need a snack have an apple or something. good luck with this if u need ne thing else IM me on x6xkelx9x hope we helped

Cammie answered Friday July 2 2004, 9:04 pm: Okay, I know I have already used this on someone else about losing weight, but it'll work JUST as well with your case! I changed a lotta parts though. I wish ya luck when you go swimming! :)
Jog EVERY day. No if's and's or but's! Try and do one lap around your neighborhood (depending how large it is) or 30 minutes on the treadmill. It doesn't matter where, but walking is a great way to start out. Plus, exercise doesn't have to be a drag. Get some of your friends and play some basketball, tennis, or softball! Go swimming in the pool everyday or do jump rope! Those are great exercises. But no matter what, start exercising everyday, atleast 20-30 minutes of cardio will get you feeling and maybe even looking better.
Next, start (or keep) on a healthy diet. Whether it's the Atkins, South Beach, Sugarbusters, or your own diet- keep on it! With South Beach, you're s'posed to lose 8-14 pounds in the first two weeks. But, you *HAVE* to resist the urge to eat that cupcake or cookie. If you want to see results, it's gonna take some self-motivation and will power. And I mean, a LOT. Still, if you keep on a healthy diet that excludes most, hopefully all junk foods, makes you have good daily portions of fruits, veggies, protein, and (maybe even) carbs you'll be set. Make sure to keep hydrated with plenty of water!
sweetie4143 answered Friday July 2 2004, 7:24 pm: Okay, my suggestion is to go on a low carb diet. Don't drink soda or gatorade! It's really fattening! Find a diet called "The South Beach Diet" and follow it. I went on it and lost 11 pounds in a week and a half and I've been on it for 4 weeks now and have lost 21 lbs. Maybe walk around the block once a night, but don't run. Walking has been proven to be better. Good luck to ya! :) [ sweetie4143's advice column | Ask sweetie4143 A Question ]
