my lying friend
there's this friend i have and she always lies to me, but then if i catch her in the middle of a lie, and am like well before you said this, shes like NO I DIDN'T. shes one of my best friends and shes fun to be around when shes not lying, but it gets really annoying...what should i do?

She isn't your bestfriend is she ALWAYS lies to you, or even for that matter, not a friend at all. Freinds are suppose to have trust and truthfull relationships. If she keeps lieing tell her to stop, because in the end she cuold hurt herself or even hurt someone else. Talk to her about her lies.

Talk 2 her n tell her that thers no need to lie. If you 2 cll ur selves best friends then you shud beable to telleach other the truth!!

well your gonna have to tell her that you don't like her lying to you. tell her that she's your best friend, and best friends don't lie to each other. my best friend lies to me once and a wile, but i've said stuff about it and she's stopped a little bit. you should just talk to her about it.

what you should do if she keeps saying no i didn't and stuff, & you really want her to know what she's doing then if you have one of those little tape recorders catch her & then when she says no i didnt, play it back to her. maybe then she'll stop.. if not, then it's up to you whether you want to be friends with someone who lies to you.. i don't know what to tell you.. you should just think about this.. is it worth having a friend who's fun to be around, even though she lies to you all the time?

omg i have a friend just like that and i just go along with it a lot or like turn it into a joke but if its like serious stuff then tell her you dont like being lied to and tell her it bugs u. or ignore her only when she lies and maybe shell get tha hint but if u are being bugged about honesty(well not honesty) then u should be honest with her.

I have a friend just like that. She is always lieing to me and going behind my back and telling people things that I tell her not to tell anyone. She goes off and tells her other friends and I get mad because she always promises that she won't tell and she does! I just dont hang out with her anymnore because I dont want a friend like that and now I found a new friend who is so much nicer, MORE TRUSTWORTHY and easy to talk to and I know that I can trust her because she cant tell a lie to be if she tried and she would never lie to me anyways.

I Think You Should Comfront Your Friend On This. Maybe Show A Little Proof If Possible. If She Gets Mad, Which I Hope She Doesn't, Let Her Cool Of For A Couple Of Days, And Then Go Back To Her And Talk It All Out. This Worked For Me Between One Of Me And My Close Friends, And We've Been Friends Since We Were In 1st Grade. That Was When I Started Going To Her School. =)

Hmmm.... it seems your friend has a lieing problem. The best thing to do is sit down with your friend and talk to her about it. Also explaine to her that if she has any problems and shes is lieing to hide it that your her best friend and she can tell you anything or she can come to this site and ask for advice too. i hope i helper =). please rate me, thanks.

Nobody likes a compulsive liar...If shes one of your best friends then i suggest either giving her a taste of her own medicine or just not talking to her. Maybe the fact that you arent talking to her will make her realise that there is a problem ya know?! Try it!

I believe that your friend doesn't lie on purpose. Maybe she is just like that. And if you say you really like her, then learn to accept that she's just like that. I have to warn you though that it is OK to confront her and tell her that her lying is getting to be annoying but always remember that you cannot change a person. I hope I helped.
