Well if you've never met him before, I really suggest you don't take it farther than a friendship. One in thousands of online relationships will work out [assuming you're talking about online], but almost all of them don't work out more then a couple months. One of my friends talked to a guy, he was really sweet, said he was 18, sent her a picture.. and in reality he turned out to be a 54 year old man. So you never know who's on the other end unless you actually meet him. So I suggest just keeping it on a friendship level.
