dolphinlover answered Tuesday February 24 2004, 11:54 pm:
Computer programmers, software engineers, and computer support specialists/systems administrators are all well paid. The entire high-tech field is often very lucrative in its pay. I have some links to a government website describing them in detail, for your convenience.

Computer programmer: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Software engineer: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Computer support and administrators: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Systems analysts, computer scientists, and database administrators: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Most of them require high levels of education, though. High pay requires a good deal of effort in school. You get what you put into it, as they say. Hopefully one of those looks good to you. Otherwise that same site has descriptions for a multitude of other career paths.
