Well age is really no object. I don't reccomend a difference of any more than two or three years, though. I dated an 18 year old when I was 14. BIIIIG mistake.
It's possible you could be seeing things, but unlikely. Chances are he does like you if everyone says he's asking about you. However, it's also hard to tell when a guy likes you. (Believe me, I have issues with this myself)The only way to tell if he likes you is to hear it from him. Good luck!

Hey it sounds like this guy likes you, you should wait and see if he asks you out it sounds like he will peace out homieG ]
1)CHILL. You're (almost) 14, and you're acting like you've been proposed to. YOU HAVENT. You have a few years, so calm down. If he asks you out, good for you. if not, then he's probably not worth it. If you think he DOES like you and is just chicken, you can go and ask him. Who said girls cant ask guys out?
btw--I have HEARD that 2 years diff. is perfect for a lot of things--freinds, boyfreinds, siblings, spouses, etc. but you two have to "match up" for it to work too. don't rely on the stars or the years ]
No one can tell you if he likes you its possible because he keeps looking at you he might have an attraction,

He might like you. How long did you know him for?
Age really doesn't matter. ]
