engineer shortage

I work for an airplane company, and they're nervous because the number of kids graduating college with engineering degrees is dropping like crazy. So I'm on a team to come up with ideas on how to get more kids, especially middle/high school students, to want to be engineers.
Now, I know some people are just terrible at math and science and that's okay, but others are great at it and STILL don't want to go into engineering and we can't figure out why. Any ideas about what drives kids away? Engineering is also mostly male... any idea how we can convince girls that it's a good idea, too? If you're okay at math but don't want to be an engineer, can you tell me why?

Hi, could someone please tell me how an ice rink can be improved as a business? or where i can find the information? like what can be done to increase profit/size/quality etc... I need it for a presentation :(

My New Rabbit

My birthday is on Easter So my boyfriend bought me a rabbit, "Derby". He's a 10 week old Rex/English Angora male. which i've had for three days now. I keep Derby in my room, and he chews the metal bars on his cage around 1 in the morning. It's so loud so I let him out of the cage to roam around my room at night. I want to keep him in my room and to stay in his cage at night. How do I get him to stop chewing on the bars? I bought him apple branch sticks at the pet store so he could chew on those but he doesn't like them.
I bought him a little house that looks like an igloo but he doesn't like to go in it. Do you think he might eventually go in it if I leave it in there?

I'm a songwriter and have written three or four songs. I would have written more but I have really high standards for how they sound. I know I probably won't be able to change the fact that I have high standards, but are there any tips for writing good lyrics?

cwtv.com only lets you download if your in the US. The computer I have doesn´t have an iTunes installed, so I can´t buy it.

okay to start off,

Where to find seasons of Road Rules/ RR/RW Challenges

Does anyone know where I can watch/buy old episodes of Road Rules or any of the older Real World/Road Rules Challenges (Like either season of battle of the sexes or the original Gauntlet)? I've looked on the MTV website and YouTube, but my results have been minimal at best. I also know that they have some seasons on iTunes, but those are the newer seasons and I've seen all of them.
Any links or help would be greatly appreciated.

17/f, I really really like this boy who is in one of my classes at school.
We're both in our last year of high school.
And anyway the thing is that I've only just noticed him and I've never spoken to him before.
I am heaps scared of talking to him mainly because I wouldn't know what to say.
I don't want any stupid things like "nice shirt" or whatever, we wear uniforms at our school. And nothing about an assignment we're doing or something coz I could just ask one of the girls I sit with about it. I need a real reason to go and ask him or talk tohim about something rather than anyone else I could ask or talk to in the class.
And also none of my friends know him or his friends.

I'm not a citizen of the United States. How will this affect me as I am planning to live here for the rest of my life? I'm 17, and I want to become a vet tech and I'm going to college this year.

Anyone have any ideas why a father won't let his 17 year old daughter become a citizen of the United States when she has lived there for eleven years and is planning to live there for the rest of her life?
(And yes I'm the daughter, my parents aren't citizens of the USA, and I'm already a citizen of the country I was born in, but I want a dual citizen ship. My parents don't want to become citizens of the USA).
So, any ideas of why he isn't letting me?

i did something stupid...

so when i was in 6th grade going into 7th i did something really stupid.
it resulted in me loosing all my friends.
EVERYONE and i mean EVERYONE found out about it...
i am now 16 and it still hounts me.
like people sitll bring it up
what i did was not murder or naything against the law. just really emabrresing. when anyone says it to me like "u the girl who..." i cry ont he spot.
what can i do? its been like 4 years already and no one forgets it!!! like i cant go anywehre without someone knowing about me.
im scraed to go for a guy bc they wont want me bc of that..
