should i tell? sorry if its long.
14/f. me and my best friend were inseparable, until she got a new boyfriend. (i'll call my friend jen and her boyfriend zack.) jen started hiding lots of things from me, stuff we used to tell each other all the time. she started sneaking out and doing vandalism like spray painting, TPing, forking, egging, rubberbanding etc.
she told me this and told me not to tell ANYONE.
but im not sure i can do that. should i tell someone like my mom?
or do I keep quiet...?

Well first off if you tell your mom than you will lose your friends trust and she might never forgive you. And if you don't tell your mom, your friend might keep doing it for a long time. If you tell your mom, think about it, what will your mom do? If you are willing to lose your friends trust than you can tell your mom. If you have to tell somebody, you should tell one of your parents rather than gossiping it to a friend who will spread it. Think it through. If you have to tell somebody I say tell your mom. But you might lose your friends trust, remember that. ]
well if you relle care about her you would tell your mom but...that would def. juss ruin your relationship with her and if you keep quiet you guys would still be friends and maybe she would tell you even more things she does...but i think you should juss talk to her about and it ask her why she is doing it...its juss makin her a bad person ]
The way I see it, you have 2 options here.. its just a matter of what you want the end result to be:
1. You can tell your mom. This way, your friend will get in trouble. You may not want your friend mad at you, but she needs to understand that she's doing things wrong- and she should be prepared to face the consequences. This option means you're doing the right thing, and you'll probably be considered a "tattle-tale".
2. You can not tell your mom. This way, you keep your friend's trust, and you two can still be friends. But- either way you chose- its still important to tell your friend that she's doing illegal things.. and its wrong. If she won't stop, you should probably confront your mom or hers.
Option 1 is the noble direction to take, and option 2 is the "friend" direction. Go with 2 first, then 1 if you really have to. Or go to the police if you feel it necessary.

Talk to her about it. She's doing very illegal things, & she knows it. Let her know that if she gets caught, she'll be given a record & she'll get in a lot of trouble with her parents & possibly go to juvenile hall. I doubt it'd get that extreme, but since she's done multiple acts of illegal things, it could happen.
Slap some sense into your friend. Scare her if that's what it takes. ]
I think you should confront her about her illegal ways. Tell her that she needs to stop before she gets caught and that if she doesn't get her act together, you will tell someone. Let her know that you're concerned about her and that you miss when you guys were close and that the path she's going down now is not something you want to deal with. ]
