Soldiers I live near a city so i go into there a lot. when i do, i see soldiers sometimes, and marines. I always want to walk up to them and just give them big hugs, thank them and walk away. But i never do. Would it be weird if i walked up to them and stuck out my hand and said "thanks for everything"???

Hi, I am a female marine, and I know first-hand that it is VERY appreciated. The news gets us down sometimes because it seems as if everyone is against us and the war. A simple handshake is all it takes to let us know you care. Thank you so much for caring about our troops. ;) ]
My brother's a marine, and people do that to him all the time. :] He says its nice and he feels really appreciated. ]
I think they would deffinetly not thin it is weird, but be very thankful. They have been through so much and not that many people even thank them let alone care what they have gone though. They'll deffinetly be very thankful. Go for it! ]
Honestly, I think it would make their day, they've most likely been though so much, so your thanks is very appreaciated! ]
Weather you are a girl or big burly guy, they would be very appreciative that you offer your hand and thank them.
I have friends in the military, and I know they are grateful to know we appreciate them volunteering to put their lives on the line for the rest of us.
There are people out there who protest the war and take their anger out on our soldiers instead of the government who sends them there.

If you're a girl and you're under 17 years old, I think they won't mind.
If you're a grown man with a beard and beer belly.. it might be a little awkward, ]
Well where I live I always see Marines training. They actually run around my neighborhood. And one day me and my friends were outside and we see them coming. And at that moment, we knew we had to do something to show them that we cared. So we quickly, got a pen and wrote on our shirt "WE CARE" and they stopped and said thanked us. So I say you go up to them and thank them for everything. After all, they do deserve. Show them that you care(: ]
Dear Soldiers,
They would appreciate you very much! People often show hate towards the soldiers, so any love is welcome!
Please shake they're hand for me too!
