student council, fccla, maybe some other clubs at your school? i don't know what your high school has to offer really... i'm in this production where you learn to swing dance and perform in like february. there will be posters and stuff at the high school probably, just walk around and look at them. there's always debate, or band or choir, or yearbook staff, or something like that. spanish club? i don't really know what your interests are, but i'm in marching band, jazz band, fccla, the swing dance thing, i'm the editor of the yearbook, and i have a job outside of school. if you don't want to go to a lot of practices, that's going to be tough choosing a club that's active. i would say try out for drill team or something, but you have to work at that, and you have to work for band and yearbook too. ask your friends what they plan on doing, and see if you can talk to your counselor about what you should involve yourself in.

They have thespians where you act and do plays. You could be an actress. It doesn't take a whole lot of work and it is alot of fun. They have the spanish club if you like spanish. Thespians you don't practice very much unless you have a big play coming up. You could be in national honor society if you have good grades it looks good everywhere you go.

the drama club is about it.
it must absolutely kill you to do homework if you don't even want to go to dance/cheerleading practices.

I'm just like you. I can't do ANY sports, and I use to do cheerleading, but now I'm a freshmen except I can't do cheerleading because I wouldn't make it.

I haven't joined any clubs yet, but ..

things you can join:

- a club who does charity work
- student council
- chior / band (if you can sing or play an instrument)
- or get into a new sport

Volleyball is a pretty girly sport and it's fun to play. I was thinking about doing tennis, even though I have no experience with it.

Try to go to your school's website or something and see what clubs and things they have to offer so that you'll be ready to join when you get to high school.

hope I helped.

Well, I'm not totally sure what kinds of clubs you all have at your Highschool, but you could always do:

-Art Club
-Photography Club
-Yearbook Club
-Student Council
-Drama Club
-Sewing Club ( if you have one )
-Choir/chorus
-A language club

Just go to your school office ( or just wait till they hand you a paper listing options and listen for school announcements ) and ask them if they have a list of all the school clubs you could possibly join, and then just take a look at it and think of everything you're interested in and what you think would benefit you the most and you'd be able to do and enjoy doing.

Believe me, at the Highschool next year will offer SO many more types of clubs you can join for so many differnet kinds of things.

I hope I helped.

If your school offers it, you could try Choir, or Chorus. My choir director doesn't make you do a solo if you don't want, so basically, all you have to do is sing the right notes, and be there for the performances.

And it's not a nerd/geek/dork thing either.
