Question Posted Friday November 19 2004, 5:49 pm

Okay, I there's this guy that likes me and i told him i would go to a dance with him but now i dont wanna go (and for a good reason dont worry) so would it be rude to tell him over the phone? Or should i do it in person? I would really rather do it over the phone so i wont be as nervous but im afraid it might be rude. Plz help me!! And i need to know like ASAP!! Thx

In person! But somewhere where you can easily leave..well that is if you're want to go to the dance but not with him. If you just don't want to go to the dance in general then yeah you can do it on the phone.

Tell him in person. Are y ou not wanting to go with him or to the dance? If you don't want to go to the dance, make sure you're not going. If he sees you there he'll be pissed.

Person if it truly is a good excuse. Or if you don't see him a lot in school, call him up and be like I couldn't find you in school today, and I'd rather say this in person, but I'm sorry, I can't go to the dance with you, because ________________________, tell him at least a week before the dance, because it'd be rude to call not too long in advance, you should give him enough time to find another date. So if you see him in school, then be kind enough to say something to his face. Just DON'T do it online, that's the worst. Don't use the computer to break the date. Either phone or person, person being better.

i think u should do it in person because doing it over the phone makes u look childish and seem like u arent going for a fake reason ....even thoit will be harder to do in person i think it will mean more and be not as rude

i think that you should tell him in person.. I know that that is like "Woah" but i think that it would be better if you told him that way. Also, you dont want to forget to tell him your reasons either. LOL!
