there are some friends i have that are boys and usually they say hi to me but sometimes they just completely ignore me. they know im there and they look at me but dont even say hi.
why would they do that?
and also this one specificly used to always smile at me but once me and his best friends stopped having a thing he acted like we werent even friends.
now dont get me wrong these guys are my best friends i barely talk to them. they are just one of those people you say hi to be nice and you talk to them if they are around barely. "small talk" (link)

ive been in this situation before. the most likely reasons for this are because your a girl and they dont feel that friend connection that they do with guys. or because you are a pretty girl and they dont want to be seen with you because people might think your dating one of them and in their minds, that ruins their status. hope this helped.

My mom just left me and I don't know what to do! We got into a big fight because she was talking to this guy on the phone a lot and I asked her if she was cheating on my dad. She got really mad and went into her bedroom for awhile. When she came out she had some things packed and told me she was going to go somewhere else where she is appreciated more. I don't know what to do! My dad is gone for another 2 weeks and I don't know what I'm suppose to do in this situation. Do I call the police and tell them I'm alone and stuff and I don't know WHEN or even IF my mom is going to come back? I'm scared. (link)

the key thing to remember is that none of this isnt any of your fault.
if there is any way of contacting your dad or any other trusting relatives contact them right away.
if none of this works, call the police.
what your mom did is very wrong and you are her full responsibility right now.
whatever you do, do not stay at home alone for 2 weeks.

a guys way of asking your relationship status is a way of breaking the ice. he asks this question because he is interested in you, otherwise he could care less if your single or not... lol. obviously hes single as well im assuming so thats his way of telling you that he is interested in you. hope i helped.

I am a 13 year old girl.I like this guy who says he loves me but when I asked him out he said no. I asked why if he loved me so much and he said its because theres this other girl.
I love this boy and cant seem to get over him no matter how much he hurts me (emotionally.) I hate how all of my friends say to just get over him when its not that easy, i need help figuring out what to do!

Alright, so I'm 15 and I'm gunna be a sophmore after this summer is over. I was thinking about where I can get new clothes for this summer and maybe even this fall for back to school. I'm not into the whole pay a hundred dollars for a tanktop with a bird on it scene. I'm getting paid around 50 dollars a week for babysitting, and I need to find places where I can get decent clothes like you'd find at places like PacSun, Hottopic, Hollister, etc. but not nearly as expensive, 'cause if I only have 50 dollars, I don't wanna blow all 50 on one thing. I live in MA, does anybody have any ideas? Also I can't shop online because I don't have a credit card and I'm pretty sure my mom doesn't either.

hey. im also 15 about to turn 16 and entering 10th grade. ive noticed the whole "vintage" 60s and 70s style clothing is starting to come back into style and you can make that look for not a lot of money...(just stating that for the record). i suggest going to target or aeropostal cause they have some decent deals there. or you can keep shopping at your favorite stores but strictly stick to the sales rack. hope i helped

i have about a 36b and i bought a bra from the PINK selection at victorias secret. its not exactly a good price but it was worth the splurge :) i hope i helped.

hi im from canada and i struggle with helping my mom get over her addiction, im 14 and i have a chance of moving in with my aunt who is much more better for me and has more time, money and strengh too keep up with me. so do i stay with my mom for grade 8 and be stressed with the bills and her self or do i leave and start fresh with my aunt and hurt my mom for myself? hey. well im almost 16 so i can pretty much relate. i think you should do whatever you think is right for you. not to mean this in a bad way, dont think about your mom or your aunt when making your decision, do it for only you. if i was your mom, i think i would want whatever is best for you so you should do what you think is best for your life. i hope i helped.

On my legs, i have really thick hair.
But of course, I shave it.
But for some reason, no matter how much I shave, you can still see black dots where my leg hair is.

the only way i can come up with is using a hair removal creme. it should remove the hair at the root instead of the "skin level" like your problem. i recommend using either Veet or Nair. hope i helped :)

any time i like a guy at all, the closer we start getting to each other i automatically become unattracted to him for no reason at all. even if he is my type and there's nothing wrong with him and he's really sweet to me and he likes me a lot, i become unattracted to him the closer we get.

believe it or not, i can actually relate to you. you probably dont want to hear my personal experience but ive been waiting for the perfect guy and just when i found him, i find that i dont want to fall in love with him, have that "picket fence" future, or even date him. lol. but the other night he told me something important. he told me that maybe i was afraid of getting close to him because im afraid of getting hurt. and that actually made a lot of sense. hope that helped :)

i have your exact same problem. but just for the record, ive heard that the tighter it is, the more enjoyable it will be when that time comes :) and keep trying tampons. dont give up. hope i helped!

hey. i have your exact same issue, and let me tell ya, its so aggrivating!!! lol. the most likely reason you cant get a tampon up there is because you are either not putting it in right (see box for directions) or your hymen might be too tight right now. i say go ahead and go to the gyno just to hear what they have to say to give you some closure. hope i helped.

Ok, so at our school track starts Monday. I did it last year and i wasn't very good i just got out of volleyball, but i need some tips for when im running how to keep my breath...like do i breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth...how should my feet be because for some odd reason i run toe to heel...i need alot of advice so any help is appreciated thank you!!! i run track too. so i breathe in through my nose and then breathe out through my mouth.
when running just relax your body...i know its hard to when you have all that addrenaline rushing through your body but if you relax then your footwork will work out on its own.

In chorus, I've been holding myself back.
My teacher is always telling me to open my vowels, but I feel as if I'll look silly doing so. I look fine when doing it at home, yet I'm having trouble doing it once I get in the chorus room. Any piece of advice to let go of this petty fear? (link)

im in chorus to and i have a teacher who is also a perfectionist. its good that your practicing at home but at school you are afraid of what people are going to think about you if you do it. i like to call this the "imaginary crowd"
at the end of the day no one is gonna care if you made silly faces in the class. take it from someone who went through the same thing. i eventually told myself that no one cares and it got me to where im in honor chorus and i get to travel all over the country and miss school for free!

remember: all hair grows back fast. it is very normal to have bumps after shaving. that means you should use a special cream such as the product Nair to reduce shaving bumps.

So, this question is gonna sound really, really stupid but I'm desparate for an answer. I'm a sophmore in high school and about a year ago, I stopped being friends with my best friend and when that happened I didn't have that many friends and still only have a couple. I really wanna start hanging out with people but i just don't know how to ask. I've gone on sites that had examples of what you should say when you are socializing but its all really corny stuff that people my age would never say. This is such a dumb question but when you start hanging out with someone for the first time (not dating, just friendship)how does it all work out? Do you just say, "wanna hang out" and stuff like that? Do you go in groups? Do you call them or ask them in school, or ask them online? I wanna ask people but I don't no how I should do it while looking cool. If you could give me exact examples of what you say or dialogues that would be great. I'd also prefer it if people like my age could answer (like in high school or whatever). Any other advice would be great. Thanks so much! (link)

just be yourself. that might sound corny but it actually works. i had your same problem a few months ago. so i started talking to some people and being nice to them. just come up with conversations, and eventually ask them if you could sit with them at lunch. then that person (in return) would ask you if you want to hang out with them.

i think you need to find better friend because obviously you cant trust either one of them because they talk about you behind your back.
if you choose better friends then you will have no problems trusting them.

Alright, I'm turning 16 in June.
I first got my period when I was 13, I think it only lasted 2 days.
I didn't get it again until I was 14, and I think it ran a normal course (somewhere between 5-7 days)
Then I got it about 3 times last year, one was really heavy, the other 2 were normal. The second one was around 28 days after the first one, so I thought it had finally become regular, but the last one was a few months later.
I also got it once at the start of this year, and it was really heavy.
Anyway, my question is, it's been nearly 3 years and my period is STILL irregular. I understand when you first get it it's irregular, but after such a long time is it normal or should I go get medical advice about it? (link)

you dont actually get "regular" periods until you are atleast in your 20's.
so dont worry about it.
