I met this really nice guy (lets call him warren) almost 5 days ago. We met at a bowling alley and I actually kinda liked his friend (Luke)- however when I found out that I was 4 years older than Luke, I knew that wouldnt ever happen because it would be illegal because he was 14 and im 18... so thats a negative. Well, Warren, Luke's friend, ended up letting me stay at his house for the night because it was too late for me to get back to my house. Warren hit on me, and then we started kissing, and well, one thing led to another. THEN, after that happened we were just talking and I found out he is my best friends cousin. I told her about me and warren hanging out and when i did she was like "Please tell me you arent messing with him." I told her i wasnt, but that i was becoming pretty close to him (which is true). I dont know what it is about him though. We are complete opposites. Im more of a voluptous girl, while he is skinny, im in high school, he is graduated, he is country, and I am proper. However the connection we have is hard to ignore; physically and emotionally. He said to me, "I bet you $100.00 that you will fall in love with me." and of course I denied it. I cant tell if by saying that he is wanting to start dating me or not. But based on the situation do you think that I should pursue the relationship or let it diminish? I just wanted an honest opinion.

Ohhh thats a tough situation. I'll give you my honest oppinion from an outside perspective. He sort of sounds like a player. From his cousin's reaction and immediate disaproval and from his "bet" it seems he is pretty cocky. Confidence/cockiness can be very attractive (those are the types of guys I typicially go for) but they can be heart breakers if you're not careful. If I were you, I would not let it go since you seem to have a strong connection with the guy. I would see where it leads but not presue it too strong. Go with the flow that way you don't get too attached if something does go wrong.

HOW do you fill out a job applicaton?
once you geta hold of one they're pretty easy to full out. all you have to do is put your information in the right spots, where it asks for your name you put hyour full name, date of birth where it asks and so on. then you put your refrences, which are people who will say how wonderful you are if your employer decides to call and ask. these pople cant be your family but if you have a mentor or a teacher who thinks your wonderful you can put that person down. then you have to list your expierence. and even if you havent had a real job befor eyou can put things down like babysitting or anything you think has to do with the job, like cooking at home or taking care of your little siblings.

i'm sorry to hear about the boyfriend who left you after you had sex =(. the good news is that you probably only did it once with him, so it oculdnt have caused too much streaching down there.
the hardest, but probably best thing to do would be to be honest with him about what happened, if he loves you he will understand.
but if you dont want to do that it is possible that you dont bleed the first time. because you could have popped your cherry while riding a horse or a bike. you could use one of those excuses if he asks.

i'm 16/f too and i know where youa re comming fromm. things can be awkward with parents, expecially if you're not particularly close. in your case i think you should just come out and ask her to help you get it, just because she had already brought it up. she worst she coudl do is advise you against having sex but ultimatly it's your decision.
if you dont feel confortable asking her you can go to a clinic and get free birthcontrol pills or planned parenthood because they will provide you with low cost of free birthcontrol and will keep it confidential and not inform your parents.

I have a huge crush on this one guy, let's call him Logan. Anyway, Logan and I are pretty good friends and he dosn't know I like him. I don't think he likes me back and I'm afraid asking him out will hurt our friendship.

since you're not sure if "logan" likes you back just yet, its not worth risking both your friendship with him and "jade". you should give it some time and see whether you get some signals from logan. if he shows intrest in you you shoudl go for it. but i woudlnt inisiate anything before you know there is something there. jade will understand if you both really like eachother, but she will be more upset if you were the one to go behind her back.

I know green tea boosts your metabolism, but I also have heard if you eat a tablespoon of peanut butter before bed, it helps boost it too. Is that true or just total BS?
these are both myths. your metabolism is highest after excersizing and eating. inorder to burn more calories and speed up your metabolism get as much sleep as possible and when you wake up DONOT skip breakfast. this early morning meal helps tell your body "hello im awake start burning calories." lol. skipping meals tells your bodythat it is going into a state which it may not eat soon, even though you know tat you will eat again your body doesnt know that so it starts to conserve energy and your metabolism slows wayyyy down. so although green tea and peanut butter may not boost your metabolism exersizing and keepiong a healthy diet will. im sorry that my responce is so long;; i wanted to be as detailed as possible lol. i hope htat i helped you =))

heyy;; im 14 too =) and i believe that before beginning a babysitting job it is a good idea to talk to the parents a few days to a week before the babysitting date. during this discussion you want to ask the parents what are their childs favorite foods, allergies to foods, hobbies, intrests and maybe even favorite cartoon carictor. This will help you pink a theme. Theme re important to keepthe child having fun; if every event is tied together they will be more memorable for hte child and the parents will get more positive feedback. For the 6 year old boy, if his favorite guy was spongebob you could purchaces pongebob shapred kraf macaroni for lunch. For some crafts revolving around that theme you could guy yellow sponges (available at a dollar store) and google eyes and felt and pipecleaners, along with other arts and craft matierials you find usefull. together you construct your own spongebob charictors and see whos looks more realilistic. coloring books are also very cheep,. fun and can be related to any theme. im sorry that i wrote so much, i wanted to be very detailed. i hope i helped =))

hey! well.. i hve hair very similar to yours.. when i dont fele like leaving it down i use a messy bun (always cute and classic), or half up half down with my bangs swept off to side (thatss always cutee!)
and low pig tairs might be cutee.. or if you want you could streighten it and then use a curling iron to curl some of it it loooks realii cutee when its done!

heyy.. well i hope i can help.. try to gentially towl dry after you shower and i use garnier fructice.. it works every well! and maybe you could use gell or hair spray to keep the hair inplace... but you need to make sure that you keep your hair wased all of the time because hairspray makes your hair flake after a while.. i hope i helped..

well i go to school and my parents expect me to get high grades like they did or say they did when they were little but with me for some reason i dont get high grades and my parents hav been takeing my stuf away from me when i dont get high grades and i do apply myself to try to get high grades........help plz
hey.. ok well what you might want to do i get a study partner.. like if one of ur friends seems to get really good grades you shoudl ask them to help you study.. you can ask your teachers for a study packet or to review the matierial with you before tests.. stay after school for help on your homework.. all of these things you just have to ask amnd im sure you can getr someone to help you but if you would like to do it on your own here area acouple of things to do anlone.. if your a visual learner make flashcards for all of your information and dont throw them out.. review them everynight. if you leard by hearing ythen make a tape of something like the times tables for example and keep listening to it and repeating it and you will get it stuck in your head.
