My college has quarters, and they're about 2 and a half months long each. There are 4 per year. Is that the same thing as a semester? (link)

a semester is 2 quaters so half 5 months into your college wich is 2 quaters youll have completely finsished one semester

My boyfriend cheated on me one week after we got together. Now I have taken him back (about 2 weeks after he cheated on me). All of my friends thinks it's a misstake but I believe in second chaces and I like this guy...All advicenators out there do you believe in the term- "once a cheater, always a cheater"??

Coming from someone who was also just cheated on. I was cheated on but me and my boyfriend have been going out for 10 months but in your situation its like after the first week he doesn't seem that comited but you can alwyas give him asecond chance . what i did was like a three stricks your out ya know so good luck and do what you feel and dont let anyone make the decission for you. make sure you do it because you'll regret it after wards

ok like i have big bags or circles i dont know what there called under my eyes. and people say to get rid of them you have to get some more sleep. but all i do is sleep. like i go to bed around 10 pm or 11 pm then i wake up the next day at like 11 am. i get like 12 hours asleep per nite or even more. so i was just wonderin how do i get them to go away? i eman there not bg but there dark. it makes me look like bad or like im on drugs or whatever so it like changes my appearance. sorry if this is in the rong category. so... does anyone know like what to do?? thanks (link)

put tea bags in cold water right after you wake up and then put them on the bags they should go away

I've had a few eating disorders in my past, from anorexia to bulimia. it's still apart of me but i do not do it as much before. every once in awhile i can get very depressed and start up again but when I'm not dealing with an ED, & actually eating normal, i always have to use the bathroom(poop) after about a half hour of a meal. is this from the ED's? or is this normal? & if this keeps up if this considered an eating disorder and is it getting the calories out that i have consumed in the meal? hey, i know excatly what your saying the same excat thing happend to me. Did you take laxitives? if you did then that could be a reason why you keep using the washroom. Also if it diarheah then that means theres something wrong and could possibly be an unintentional eating disorder but if it isnt then thats fine because then it has digestive correctly. okay, seriously.. i must be an insomniac. it's 5:27 am and i cant sleep, i cleaned my whole room, bathroom and kicthen to give me something to do, and im hyper as ever still, for the past 2 months i have not been able to sleep, and when i do sleep i sleep to much, what is rong with me? am i going insane???

its probably because its summer and your sleepiong pattern changed you may have a sleeping problem but i am sure that it can be fixed take sleeping pills.

Is it true that a person can become skinnier but still weigh as much as they did when they where fat? Like that whole "muscle weighs more than fat", is that true? So, could I be skinny but still weigh a lot on the scale? Please explain that concept to me. Thanks!

yes when you are very muscler and leanand you weigh the same amount as a over weight person that is becasue muscle weighs three times more that fat

My boyfriend tends to lie to me about stupid things..like money. If he has 100 bucks he tells me he only has 50 and such. And I have caught him in his lies so many times. He told me that he woul d stop because he didn't know that i cared that he lied about stupid stuff like that.But in my opinion if he lies to me about small things than he's lied to me about more important things.What should I do to get it through his head that I don't appreciate him lying to me all the time. Don't assume untill you have proof but you have every right to dump him because no one deserves to be lied to but you should wait and see if you still is lying to you before you act

ok.. my i live with my grandma and she keeps calling me fat and stuff. and i already have a lowe self esteem .. and i ask her not to say anything but she still does.. and she knows that it bothers me.. and i've got to wear i dont' wonna eat.. and don't want anything to do with anybody except my best friend.. when it comes to just being with ppl for long periods of time. and she has really put me into a depression mode.. what do i do? What you shouldn't do is stop eating. One person's oppion of fat can be anothers as skinny. I dont know if you are over weight or not you should try to be comfortable with yourself/. Yuo are the only you you have soo dont do anything stupid. If this really bothers you, and yuo are over weight go on a diet. But a good idea is to make a list of the good qualities you have and then it might make you feel better

Okay, so I was trying to get my ear holes to a 16ga, and I couldn't find a nail or anything, so I used this broken earing, and the part that is supposed to go through your ear broke off, so I used the hoop part. Now, this isn't sterling silver, its a cheap earing. Is their any chance that I could have infected my ear, because I didn't sterylize it, but i thought if I got it hot it would melt.
My friend pierced her ear without starylizing it and she almost got blood poisioning.
2 questions:
1. Is there a chance I could get infected or blood poisioning? the earring wasnt dirty or anything.
2. What are some ways I can prevent any infections right now?

My lips are really chapped and I'm using the jar of Carmex with the yellow lid. I've used it a lot and left it on, but everytime it wares off my lips start to peel and I'm tempted to bite them again and get them chapped. Should I leave the peeling skin alone? Any additional advice would be wonderful.

What are some products I can use to clear up my pimples? I don't have like brigh red acne just alot of little tiny pimples on my forehead and chine then blackheads all on my nose.

they have it for your skin type like oily dry normal and tis like pro-actice it comes with a wash then a dirt remover and a mostiizer its not that expiencive
