I'm a 13 y/o girl and i recently got a boyfriend about a month ago. When ever i try to talk to him on facebook or texting him he uses short replies and doesn't tend to be interested in talking. He never initiates the conversation and i have to ask questions to keep the conversation going. He hasn't even asked me on a date since our second date, which was ages ago. I don't want to keep pestering him, so I don't ask to meet up with him either. I'm starting to think that he doesn't actually like me :/ Is it normal for teenage boys to not necessarily talk to you? I think you should talk to him about it. One option could be is that he doesnt even know that hes doing this and its not fair to you to be in a relationship that you are not happy in because hes not making you happy! being open in a relationship is the best advice i could give you because then everything is on the table and both of you know how each other feels! i really hope everything works out for you.

When i read this i thought of "drunk minds are sober thoughts". Of course he means this, when a person is drunk they are able to say how they feel without getting nervous or embarrassed.

a person is who they are, and you really cant change that. If you do want to change that maybe you really dont want to be with them. If they want to change they will but you cannot change them if you dont want to, maybe its something you just have to get used to.

So there is this guy that was in my college math class. He was very quiet but I thought he was the most gorgeous guy I have ever laid my eyes on. Now he told my friend he was single so I decided to just go rite up to him and give him my number because I would have felt really bad if I didn't even try to communicate with him. Anyways he texted me later on that same night I gave him my number. And we got to talking then I told him to tell me some things about himself he felt comfortable sharing and the one thing hat kind of got to me was that he said "I am in a long distance relationship but shit happens" and when I complemented him he told me thank you and"at least you see that" then asked me to go somewhere with him the following weekend. What you said makes it seem that him and his girlfriend are in a bad place and it seems like she takes him for granted and hes finally realizing that. I think maybe you should talk to him about it, not only for your benefit but his as week, it seems like he needs to talk about things and vent his feelings to someone.

there is this girl i like,and i have been flirting and talking to her. Shes a brave person and hugs people a lot including me. But today something weird happened and it seemed that she actually wanted me. So today at rehearsals for a play, the main actor wasn't there and she is the main actress, so she stared saying that she wants me to be him(and the two main people get kinda close..) then after that the directors wanted to talk to us and she asked me to sit next to her and i did. Then she asked me to wait for her and walk her out to the parking place and she asked me to give her a kiss on the cheek... does this mean anything? HELP?!

I know this is a very hard thing to do because i used to always be in your position. i know its hard but start with a hi and the next time you see him say a little more, i know it doesn't seem like much but it is. you just have to know that you are dating him and that you really like him and he likes you so once you do start talking to him and you get more comfortable around him you will be so happy and so will he. i know its hard but i believe that you can get over this :)

Well its not 100% fact that he does. but when a guy does give you his sweater its usually in a nice flirty way. I would just try to hang out with him more and see how he acts towards you and then go from there :)

So I have an issue with this friend I have. He is my ex but we only dated for 3 weeks like two years ago. We have become really close lately and we pretty much talk everyday. Recently we were having a deep conversation about the past and our relationship. he admitted to me that when I went out with my latest ex that it hurt him. He also told me that when he and I were together he was at his happiest. This lead him to admit that he had never really gotten over me and that he only accepted the fact that we were never going to be anything more then friends. I don't know what to do with that. I feel that if I continue being friends with him that I will be just hurting him every time I go out with a new guy but I also feel that if I stop being friends with him I'm hurting him. I believe that if you want to continue being friends with him you have to talk to him about it. Maybe he believes that being friends with you is more important than being hurt when you date guys. Hi I have been romantically involved with a man much older than me for 6 months now and have decided to leave him and move back home with my parents. I may be very biased because i have been hurt alot in the past but i know how much it would hut but i think you can do better. no woman deserves a guy that calls her a bitch and verbally abuses her, you have to find someone who loves you unconditionally and appreciates you. and it doesnt really seem like he does, as hard as that is to say.

Have you tried talking to him about how you feel? because if you do you might find out that he still feels the same way you do! and if not and you know he has moved on that might give you he closure you need to move on. If not just give it time, i know its hard but sometimes it just takes some time.

In love stories theres always a happy ending where the girl marries her best friend. A friendship is such a good foundation to a very successful relationship. First of all if hes your best friend that means you trust him and trust is a very big part in a relationship. also, you know that you and him get along great and you know all of his good qualities as well as his bad ones. although if it does end badly, you will lose a great friend. its really the risk you have to be willing to take. good luck and i hope i helped :)

If she is a shy girl then it might take her a little while for you to figure out whats really on her mind. but it really seems like she likes you. I think you should definitely talk to her and as her what she meant when she said she'll end up having a relationship with you. The best thing you can always do in a relationship is talk to them about how you're feeling!

I admire the advice you give on here, you seem to be a very calming, logical, and insightful person which is why I am inboxing you. I'm 20/f and my boyfriend and I have been having sex (using condoms every time of course). I think we have had sex about three times since my last period. I am always extremely careful and make sure after sex that the condom didn't break (for precaution and ease of mind) but I have not gotten my period yet (which I usually get very late September) and I can't help but be paranoid about possibly being pregnant, although in the back of my mind I am sure there is no way. Am I over reacting? I have been under a lot of stress lately so that could be the case but other than that I can only think of one other obvious reason why I would not have gotten it yet. Any opions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

it is very common that a person is a little uneasy after they are late but the best thing to do is be calm and try not to stress too much because that could make you more late. from what youve told me it seems nearly impossible that you could be pregnant but the only thing you can do is wait and if it still doesnt come in a week then either see your doctor or go to the drug store and take a pregnancy test. most likely you are just late and not pregnant. i hope i helped you out and if you have any other questions feel free to ask :)
