ok, so i have had this thing with a guy i liked for a few months now. we both like each other and everything, but we aren't going out yet. anyways, i hang out with this group of girls during lunch and ever since i told them he and i have a thing they started bringing up info. about how they have had a thing with him too and then they started calling him a "homie hopper" but the thing is, that i didnt know any of this cause he and i just met last year, and all these things my friends are telling me happened before he and i even had a thing. should i take into consideration the whole "homie hopper" thing, or should i just give him a shot since he really does make me happy?
Kelsreed answered Friday September 28 2012, 11:28 pm: okay , you sound a lot like me and my boyfriend. We talked for 6 months before we even started dating. He had a thing for my best friend before, but honestly it doesn't bother me because it was only a crush. Me and my boyfriend talked last year , but only as friend, we barely knew each other. Word of advice though, he makes me happier than any man could. We have been happily "together" (talking/ dating) for a year now. I love him more than anything in the world. So many people dislike me at my school , but you know i take it as people are jealous because they think i'm better than them. All these people had so much stuff to say about me and him and still do. People talk all the time. Don't let them run your life. And hey even if he screw you over, you will learn from your mistake. but don't ever go off of what other people say, regardless how close you are to them. Find out for sure for yourself.
