I really like this older guy and he likes me. The age difference is quite big, he's in his mid 40's and I am 27.
We both like each other and have been on a couple of dates, but I'm worried about other people;s reaction to us.
For example, we had many raised eyebrows when we went out to a restaurant together. Someone asked me if he was my father!!
Also other friends of mine that have met him don't find him attractive and don't know what I see in him. I've always gone for guys with nice personalities than good looking guys who were jerks. So what if he's a little overweight and going grey?
He treats me well and I feel like I can talk to him about anything.

Tell them to SHUT UP! If you like this guy their opinions shouldn't effect you. If they were really your friends they would support you. Theres a difference between your friends telling their opinion once and shutting up or constantly ragging you about this guy. If you really like this guy who cares?? My grandparents had the same situation. My grandmother was 12 when my grandfather was 19. My great- grandparents from both sides hate the idea of my grandparents being together but they've been together since 1965. So Go For It!!!

Well I have been dealing with an impulse control disorder called Trichillomania. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a disorder in which you have impulses to pull out your own hair. Well about a year ago I started pulling out my eyebrows, I have pulled them all out and they have been this way for that amount of time. I keep plucking them out every time a new one grows in. Well now I am in therapy for this and taking anti-depressant medication(Zoloft) which has helped the intensity go away to pull. Now my eyebrows are starting to grow back. It has taken them a week to finally start growing back without me touching them. I was wondering how long do you think it will take for them to be fully grown back in, and is there anything I can do to make them grow faster? Rogaine? I heard it works, but not so sure. (link)

I think rogaine will make the hair thicker in that place. Just like, I've never heard of anyone shaving their head b/c they thought their hair would grow back thicker. But anyway, the hairs up there always grow back pretty fast for me and the same with my friend(

My friend Chelsea is on Birth Control and she always has something wrong with her. such as bad headaches,cramps, and a few times shes had to switch medicine because of the side effects and go to the hospital. and she said something the other day like. I wish i never started these things. I have been thinking about getting on BC so that way i would know when my period is coming and such (im 15) but i was just wondering is birth control that bad with everyone? Because if so im scared to get on it. (link)

Nope, bc doesn't do that to everyone. My cousin takes it and she's just fine. I think it depends on how sensitive your body is to certain things. As long as your friend isn't doing any drugs i really don't see how this could be happening.

a few months ago i painted my bedroom this elaborate pinkish orange color and its beautiful but its sooo vibrant. not to sound gothic, but im not a VIBRANT kinda girl. i love the color but.. i need to off-set it a little with a darker color bedding or curtains.. any suggestions? (link)

find curtains and bed sheets that go with it but are darker. by pink/orange im guessing you mean fuschia. find green or you could always go for a "punk" look and do black and white with the pink. polka dot sheets would be adorable.

wait a while. if youve been athletic since your last period it might be "rescheduleing" itself. mine does that. Also, if youve made a new friend and youre really close to them you might be going through a synchronization(where the two of you will go through your menstural cycle prety much at the same time). Its almost like a supernatural thing. Its happened to me before though. The only thing besides those two is if your not a virgin you should get yourself checked.

Ive been single for a fiew months now and I have been screwed over twice pretty badly by guys. The first guy told me he loved me and then i found out that on a night when i was suposed to be with him he had sex with a girl 4 times! the other time was more recently. I had been hanging out with a guy more often and he would put his hand around my waist and pull me close and want me to stand next to him so he could hold me and stuff and then i found out he was with another girl also! I was crushed both times. But moreso the first time then the second. Its hurt me badly and brought my self asteem down even lower!
My question Is basicly What are some ways I could make myself more confident? I have been told if you are confident with yourself people can notice. Also How can I get a guy to like me? a good guy. Do you have any makeup tips or cloths tips or any tips at all! any advice. It would really help.

First and foremost, be yourself. I know it sounds stupid but it's the best way. Second, shopping helps MY self-esteem but i dont know what other people like. Doing something your good at also works. Third, if you want clothes and makeup advice, as long as youre not uncoordinated and your face doesnt look like a clown youre doing just fine. (If youre wearing it>>)Lay off the black eyeliner. I know its popular but it looks stupid if you cant wear it right.- As far as boys go, some girls like drama and if thats you then go after the bad boys (which sounds like what youve been attracting yourself to). Try getting into sports if youre not already in something the consists of boys and girls. Alot of guys respect a girl that can whoop his butt.

Ok last night my sisters bouyfriend raped me. He said that the only reason that he was dating my sister was to get closer to me and that he watched me all the time. I haven't told anyone yet because I am scared and my sister is always telling me how much she loves him and that she wants to marry him. And I know that I should tell her because he is a jerk and I dont want her to make any wrong decisions but I can't because I dont want to break her heart. How can I tell her and my family that he raped me?? you should tell someone immediately!!! your sisters feelings are a little more different than your health. plus, by saying something to your family it will make your sister aware of how much a freak her boyfriend is. if your family doesnt beleive you then you should tell a school councelor. this is a VERY serious matter!!

Well, I know that Christmas is very far away, but I like to get things done and over with early so I don't have to deal with it later on.
My boyfriend just got a car, it is a '91 Toyota Celica in very good condition. Since it is a '91 it only has a cassett player. My idea was to get him a CD player for his car.
I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a simple CD player. No need for MP3's and etc.
See, I would go to Radio Shack or Circut City and ask them, but they'd annoy the hell out of me and try to get me to buy the most expensive one. I don't want to deal with them. ::blushes::
So, for all you guys (or gals) that are really into fixing up cars, what would your preference be on a car CD player? I don't want to spend INSANE amounts of money. And again, I just want something simple.

i dont know what location you are in but if youve ever heard of mobile1 or frys (both are electronics stores) they will let you pick what you want and even install it for really cheap. You could always ask your boyfriend if you can "barrow" his car for a few hours and get it installed for him too!!
