Sorry, I hate these questions too but please bear with me.
So this guy that I work with and I have been flirting for like the past 3 months. He’s one of those guys that flirts with pretty much every girl so I didn’t think much of it at first. But then it started to get a little more personal and I really started to have a crush on him.
However when I first met him, I had a boyfriend. Then a month ago he broke up with me. Like 2 weeks after we broke up I was talking to the guy I work with and he told me that he really likes me and that he wanted to start hanging out more and on a different level. And I told him that I liked him too but I wasn’t really over my ex so I wasn’t at a point where I wanted to start another relationship. We haven’t really talked about it since then, which was like 2 weeks ago.
But now, I’m definitely over my ex and I really want to try things out with this other guy. But I don’t really know how to let him know.
We’ve talked about it before so I guess I feel awkward or something because I don’t wanna be like “Oh yeah, I changed my mind I do want to go out with you.” haha I need a better way to bring it up.
So my question is, how would you start that conversation? Basically what I want to get across is that I like him a lot, I’m over my ex now, I want to give this new relationship a try, but also that I want to take things slow. (Just because I don’t want this to ruin our friendship)

Well firstly, just start talking to him like
you were doing in the first place. He probably will take it slow due to what you had said before. Just tell him how you feel after a while, just be like i really do like you.

Well one way to see a few different hair styles
is go to a near by store [sally's, and even walmart sells some] and look at the hair magazines. There will be tons of examples in
them, and your sure to find something.

I am 14 years old, and I weigh 169 pounds. I am short. I am...59 inches tall.
I know i need to lose weight, but I have trouble.
I am busy with 4-H and my birthday in the summer. And the rest of the year, i have school. My 4-H leader is teaching me and a few friends karate, (but shes not very strict.) And i try to work out as much as possible. I also try to give myself time to think, and figure out who i am.
I try to eat as good as possible, i eat a little bit of meat, bread, and i love veggies and fruit. I also eat yogurt as much as possible (the light kind)
And i love cheese, but my dad says its expensive and doesnt get it much.
Anyways, what are some things i can do to lose weight and slim up my belly (get rid of the fat)
in my short amount of free time?

It sounds like you have a good plan to start off, and your watching what you eat but maybe watch a little closer and keep up with the calories. Make a amount that you cannot excede for everyday
[ 1500 is an often one ] and keep eating right and exercising. This should help you start shedding those pounds.

i call her a dork or tell her to shut up. she then truns around with a look of daring in her eyes and smiles and say "you are just asking to be slapped" she hits me when i joke with her only playfully joking and hitting. she grabs my stuff (cell phone,pen,book ect) while i am using it or holding it. when i do it to her; she gets offended and says "you are going to get it." we play around like we are kids. but the way she plays with me always have some kind of shining glare in her eyes as she smiles at me. we are best friends and girls. i am bi and like her but she not interested so i moved on but the way she plays around with me feels like flirting. if she is, why does she flirt with me?

well sometimes people may flirt but maybe not like that person. I know it might sound confusing but she could be just messing you as a friendly vibe. You did say best friends, maybe she just feels comfortable with you and thats how your relationship works.

ok so there was this guy we'll call Jake... and me and jake had been talking for awhile but we like never hung out or anything. maybe once or twice. Jake is a sophomore in college and i'm a junior in high school. anyway.... we stopped talking because he starting going out with another girl from my school but while they were dating he told me he thought he loved me and i was the one and all of this stuff... which scared that crap out of me. so I did the bad thing of kind of leading him on feeding into everything. Well....... one of his best friends, we'll call caleb... is a senior at my school and we recently started talking. I still can't tell for sure if he likes me.. I'm pretty sure he does. We hung out this weekend and I had a blast with him. It was so fun. Jake happened to be there too but didn't say one word to me until we were about to leave. it was werid. so i guess my problem isn't that i'm torn, it's more so I don't know what to do about caleb. I like him, a lot. but it's like sometimes he's so into me and other times he could care less.. i'm so confused. i'm hanging out with him friday.. we're gonna go watch a movie at the drive inn.... so hopefully that goes good.

okay well you and jake do seem like you have a little thing together, but if he is dating other people and not coming straight up to you about it then i say go for caleb. Or at least give him a try, it seems like you two are starting to get closer and see each other more which means that he has to be interested. Take a little time and see how it is going with him. If it doesn't work out then wait a little while, and maybe so what jake is back up too.

okay so i [was] talking to this boy; but then thursday he was texting this girl that i DIDNT like and thay we're suppost to meet up and "HANGOUT" around like 10 at night, yeah ew nasty, but thay never went because SHE said she was just playing with him and it was a joke! and he tried to say yeah i know i was kidding to blahblahblah; well he call's me friday and i let him know i knew about them texting, and he said it wasnt him and he wasnt going to do ANYTHING with her and more lame stuff! and i told him i didnt want to talk anymore because i can't trust him and he did me wrong, and might i add i still like him a lil, but he said he will do anything to make me trust him again. i don't know though because i mean UHGGGGGGGGGG he did me wrong, and that was nastty lol, but then again i still kinda like him, i don't know WHAT to do; and my friend wont give me any kind of advice; because thay have never had to deal with this befor,

well it was wrong for him to talk to the other girl, but until you go out it shouldn't count as much.
anways, if he said that he would do anything for you to trust him why not give a chance. People make mistakes, but as long as it doesn't happen over and over it should be fine. If your not still sure, just go slow. Take small steps by trusting him again. If he really cares enough about you then he will wait. This will show that he is serious and chances are he wont do anything to lose your trust again. good luck

i've been dating my boyfriend for six months.
but three months before that his girlfriend that was his girlfriend on and off for three years broke up with him.
i really don't know why he stayed with her in the first place, she cheated on him all the time. and the guy she dumped him for, and is now dating, is the ONE of the guys she cheated on him with.
and inbetween their breakups she'd always have a different boyfriend, but he never had another girlfriend.
hes messed around with other girls, but i'm only his second girlfriend.
well anyways, i love him. i honestly do. and i know he cares about me, but sometimes it just pisses me off that their past is like that.
and i like her, shes fun. but he doesnt like her anymore, he can't stand her. but lately shes just been getting on my nerves.
today a girl asked me about his mom [she died of cancer three years ago] and his ex just jumped in, because she was sitting on the otherside and just started saying all this stuff about what type of cancer, and how he reacted and all this stuff.
i get they have a past, and i know i do too.. but it just makes me so mad that it gets brought up.
and i still think she cares about him because everytime i even say his name she looks at me like shes gonna cry.
i just don't know what to do about it because it honestly gets on my nerves that she acts like she knows everything about him. what can i do to get over these feelings and just concentrate on our relationship that we have now? (link)

you have to realize that she probably will try to get on your nerves in a sense because she probably still has feelings for him in a way. And if she gets you jealous and you leave him then when she gets tired of her boyfriend she can go back to him like usual. But now that your with him, she probably doesn't like you being there because no one was really ever there in the time before. Well now the main thing to do is just focus and what you got. She missed out, and treated a great guy horrible and you came along and got him. Just realize that what you have is a great thing. it alse hows that he is loyal.if he never cheated on her, chances are he won't cheat on you. If you stay loyal to him as well, then he doesn't need her, because he has someone way better; you. Just don't worry about her, and continue worrying about you and him.

i dyed my hair about a month ago to dark brown trying to get it back to a normal color because before it was like brassy and orangy. it looked good and now it's fading again. i don't know what to do my hair will not hold color for more than a month and i don't want to damage my hair even more by coloring it because i straighten it too. is there anyway to like strip the color or take the color out? or anything i can do to make it hold the color?
also i don't think i get enough protein, could that be why? because my hair won't grow either. if so do they make like protein pills or anything?

Well color will eventually fade out. But if your trying to get it all out use tide. I know it may sound a little strange, but it takes the alot of the color out. For keeping it colored longer. Well if your using a certain brand, I would change the brand. If your hair dresser does it, maybe try a closer color to your hair, where you can tell it's different but it's not to bad.

I have oily skin. VERY oily skin. I'm looking for a makeup that works. Stays on. Controls shine. Doesn't turn orange. Doesn't cake up. Doesn't gather around pores. Lasts more than 30 minutes.
I can honestly say that my all time favourite is CoverGirl clean Oil Control... but it appears they've stopped selling it in Canada?

well i'm not positive if it's in canada, but a good kind is bare minerals. It may come a little pricey but it will work well, and want pile up like other kind. Hope this helped.

Ok, I'm female and almost 14.
So one of the guys in my class tries to annoy me. During 6th period he uses his foot to shake my desk and looks at me sometimes, and in 4th period he was REALLY close to me and looking over my shoulder while I was reading the chapter's notes aloud. He keeps saying stuff to me like he's my boyfriend, but in a joking way. Recently, one of his relatives passed away, and since then, he's either nice to me or tells me to shut up when I'm not even talking to him! well it does sound like he does have a little crush on you. And if he tells you to shut up he might just be trying to get your attention and maybe even start a conversation. ok so after prom, everyone is going to my friends boyfriend's house for the after party. theres gonna be lots of people there but overall its just a typical house party. so im going for sure and im sleeping over there along with everyone else so i want to be comfortable but still look really cute. like i really dont want to stay in my dress because its pretty big and too fancy and uncomfortable but what do people usually wear to after parties? some people say jeans and a tshirt. other people say just their pjs. i was also told a skirt and a cute top are fine but then again i was also told just wear a less fancy dress thats still cute. what do ppl typically wear?? usually people just wear a cute shirt, and some capris,shorts,blue jean skirt, etc.
Some do wear little dresses but if your going for a more comfortable and relaxing way i would stick to the shorts,shirt kinda thing.

I need a job. I want to be able to buy my own clothes, and not have to get it off my parents, I feel bad when I do. I have put applications in at fast food places, even rite aid, but no where has called me =[
My boyfriend said putting men as my "people to call" looks better then women. True? I always put my moms friend, who is an owner of a company, I thought that always looked good. well first thing DQ would be a great place to try, especially if your mom knows the owner. In a way, this can give you an advantage.
And no, you are not doing anything wrong, it's just there are probably not as many open jobs right now, because the increase of gas, is making people have to carry more jobs to pay.
One thing some hire for is experience if there's any way you can show some type of experience people will hire you quicker. Just try all around.
Some times you have to call the place you applied to over and over again to see if they have read it yet. This might help. Good luck !

well if your the only girl it will probably be tougher because they want to try and protect you from getting hurt or making the wrong choices. It probably seems kind of stupid to you, i know how you would feel, but they are simply just trying to keep you from making mistakes.
You can try and get trust by doing small things first. Maybe say I'll clean the dishes tomorrow or something that you can promise too. You also might try going to the movies with someone, if they let you be on time and it can also help build up there trust.
For the boyfriend, if you decide to have one try bringing him by the house, this shows that you want them to know that your not trying to do anything behind them and then they will think he is a great guy and you can probably go more places with him.

try dropping hints to let him know you like him. You can even invite him to the movies with some of yalls friends. If he still isn't getting the clue, get one of your friends to maybe drop a clue on him too. Then, hopefully he will ask you out. Give him time, he may just be shy. But make sure you give him a clue, cause if you don't he may be afraid of getting rejected and never ask.

okay so im graduating from middle school this year and i really want an AMAZING party :) i havent even asked my mom yet but shes gonna wanna know what my plans for the party are. i really hope she says yes and im expecting 20-30 people that are gonna be invited. i want something fun to do and i wanna do something like a water ballon fight or spray those silly string things but those are small things and want to do something else to do...i have decoration and food covered but what i need are the activties for 14 year olds to do...i no it sounds young but still we like to have fun :) (link)

Sounds like fun! Well plan activites mainly outside if there are gonna be guys and girls. Some fun activites are neck the orange [ you have to pass the orange around in a circle using your neck. NO HANDS! it's fun and gets everyone close. If you drop the orange your out, and it keeps going ] Another game is the a game with lifesavers and tooth picks [ form a cirle, and everyone gets a toothpick. then you have to get the lifesaver on the other person's toothpick using only the toothpicks. It's a really fun game. ]
Also try using a main theme for your party. It will help the party roll.

this can be a tough one. Well even though both of you like him, if he's going for you and your really set on him, your best friend should be nice enough to let you have him. If you pass up this chance, you could be missing so much. And a great guy. If your still not sure, talk to your friend about it. In other words. Just go for it!

Ok, well i am 14/f and i started my period 4 months ago. I really want to wear tampons because they are easier and you cant feel them. Every time i try to insert one, it hurts, i am angling it and i have it halway in, but when i try to push the rest up there, it just wont go and it hurts really bad. I have only got it in one time, and i pushed it up far, but when i set down, i could feel it and it was uncomfortable. Now, i cant push it up there even if i try. (link)

well, there are some tampons that are made really small. They work, but they don't hurt as much. One type is called ob pro comfort. Or make sure your putting it in right, try tips off the computer to help .
