I'm 14 and a girl and I think I really want sex or the touch of someone else. I think about it a lot and I sometimes dream about it. I know I am really young so sex isn't really the best thing...I know about masterbating but I am afraid to touch down there. As in like skin to skin. Like using my finger. And I don't think I am comfortable on putting some house hold object up there either...and I definatly can't get a dildo. I need help...any adivce?
Well if your scared to put even just your own finger near that area, why would you want some one else to? You have to be comfortable with your body before you'll be comfortable with any one else. Also, your right, sex isn't something you need to be worried about at 14. I was older when I gave away my virginity & I definitely regret it. So I would highly recommend that you wait until your 100% ready.

So I always have this discharge coming from my vagial area, and I am not sure what it is from. It makes me smell and that makes me self concious. I don't have any STD's so I know it isn't anything dealing with that. Someone please tell me whats wrong with me...
I used to have the same problem. It eventually just got lighter & didn't smell anymore.
Some suggestions:
-Sleep in underwear or shorts with out underwear ;it helps it air out & stops it from all the moisture building up.
-They have these things called panty-liners ;from personal experience ,if your using those ... don't. It just makes it worse.
Eventually it'll just go away.

Heyy i am a varsity cheerleader for my school and my coach is yelling at us to turn our hips out. I really don't kno wat that means. Like my jumps have been good and all and i just need help. This is gonna be extremely hard to explain how to do this. But a good way to help your hips turn out is to:
(This might work best on tile or wood.)
But get into a position where your on your hands & your knees.
Then get onto your elbows & let your knees go in opposite directions.
One will go to the left wall & the other to the right wall.
Keep your feet together.
You'll look kinda like your in a frog position I guess, lol.
It hurts like hell ,but it helps. & over time your mid-section should get closer to the ground.

This guy... it really seems like you have a good chance with him. Most guys don't notice little things like a new outfit, & he does. So that's wonderful. (: & He's TRYING to start conversation with you, & if he wasn't interested at all, he wouldn't spend his time doing so.
Tips for the coming up school year, I would recommend smiling when you talk to him. Guys love making girls happy. And just be confident. Look him in the eye ,don't keep hair in your face ,no hands over the mouth (my habit). I used to be shy & still kinda get that way around the dude I like ,but I just gained some confidence to talk to him & now ,we're going to the movies tomorrow. Haha. (:

Do I wear a tampon in the water then?
Mom told me last year sometime that water stops you from bleeding. Like your period stops while you're in the water or whatever. Does that still mean I need a tampon to go swimming?
And is there a good tampon to use for swimming because I've never used tampons before! hah.

Yes, water usually stops the blood from coming out. But I'm pretty sure you'll want to get out of the water at some points & just sit on the beach or something. So my best suggestion would be to, wear a tampon in the water, so you won't have to worry about anything.

so i am an african american. my hair is really thick. its also short. i am trying to grow my hair out this summer. i was wondering if you could give me tips. like things to use and things to do.i already trimmed my hair so my edges wouldnt be split. also could you say things that damage your hair. like gel or heat or anything. i dont use gel. also is brushes bad because it pulls your hair out? thanks
If you eat eggs or anything with protein in it, it helps your hair (and nails) stay healthy. Also, try not to use heat products too often. Example: straightener, blow dryer. And I would suggest using a wide tooth comb instead of a brush. It helps the breakage.

I was suppose to start my period Sunday, June 6th. I did. Okay, I'm bleeding but not as heavy as I usually do. I'm not spotting I'm bleeding. Could I be pregnant? What are the chances? I'm having all my symptoms, cramping, using bathroom a lot, breast hurt.

So there are always ants in our house during the summer time and it frustrates all of us because we only eat in the living room and the kitchen and we clean twice a week.
Do you know how else the ants can get into our house? I don't see any cracks where the walls are and we always have all the doors closed.
And it's just downstairs. I don't know if it's because we have carpeting up here and that's why there's no ants up here or what because it's very frustrating that I call my parents every time I see an ant (because I'm very scared of ANY bug) to kill it.
And we got this bottle last year where you just put it on some sliced cucumbers and I guess the ants will eat some and die. But near the end of summer last year they just started going around the cucumbers sooo it doesn’t work. Plus it leaves this clear film like glue guns, very annoying.
Do you know how to solve this problem? Or maybe even how to prevent it from happening next year? Maybe there's something you can spray outside in front of all the entrances?

I put in a tampon for the first time today. I am on day 2 of my period but I've always used pads up until now.
I put the tampon in and I don't know how to remove it. It hurts when I pull on the string. I tried to take it out an hour ago but it hurt really bad then too so I waited. I've had the tampon in for a long time now. The tampon has been up there for almost 7 hours so I know it's time to come out.
How can I remove the tampon without hurting? Why does it hurt to remove a tampon? Will this pain go away? I'm scared and I don't want to tell my dad because it's embarrassing. My mom died a few years ago so I can't ask her and I don't have a close woman to talk to.

Oh my god. This happened to me my first time trying to wear a tampon too. I was crying like crazy though. Lol.
Anyway, all you have to do is fill up your bath tub just a little bit. (maybe like three/four inches high of water ,that's all you need) Sit in it & pull out the tampon while your in the water. I did it & it came out with no troubles.

Well, I sometimes get a bubble type thing on my gum, hurts when i push on it(of course) and i remember the dentist telling me years ago if i wash my mouth out with salt water that it will go away within a day...Well i just wondering WHAT IS IT? and why do I even get it?? at the moment its behind my 2 front teeth, like on that topp bit of my gum :S can anyone tell me what it is and why i get it? dentist only ever told me to wash with salt water and it will go away so it doesnt sound like an infection??
Hey. I used to get these all the time. They're called "ulcer". It's just bacteria in your mouth that causes it. Nothing major. Salt water does help it go away. They usually don't last long. To prevent them, try brushing your gums more. Hope I helped. (:
