Okay, I have this really good friend of mine. She and are are basically like twins, but of the oppisit sex. We've already kinda agreed to be like friends with benifits, and soon we're ganna meet eachother... Of course we're both virgins, and I wouldn't be ashamed to loose my virginity to such a great person, but I'm just kinda unsure about what its going to do with my future. You might want to think it over. Talk to your "friend" about it and tell them how you feel. You might not want to give that away to just a friend with benefits bcuz later in life you may find someone who you have even stronger feelings for. Believe me its much better when you find someone you love and you give them your virginty which is something you can never give again.

i got my period over the summer for the first time. i skipped a month, then i had it last month nd this month. i know that is normal. is it normal that i had my period last week, then i got it again today & it is really light color? could it be because this week i started basketball for my school?

It sounds like you are just having an irregular period. Is it brownish? Most likely its just the little bit left over from the end of your period and it will take you a few months to have a normal period.

I have to write a four page review of literature for the science fair. My teacher gave me a website on how to write it, but the website has been shut down. The report is due on Wednesday, and I need to get started right away so there isn't anytime to wait until tomorow to ask my teacher. Can anyone tell me how to write one, like what guidline // format to follow or a website that could tell me this information. ok, There is this guy that I am like in love with. But the thing is, is that he is my Ex Boyfriend. I swear we get along so good now. We talk laugh and everything. He even looks 'sorta' like Billie Joe Armstrong (I Guess you can see why.) But the problem is, is that I am sorta confused with him. Ok for the second part. It sounds like he likes you and he has respect for you but you better check him with the calling names thing. If hes gonna be around you then he needs to have respect for you, your friends, and especially females. All guys dont but they should even if they do cuss.

hmmmmm.... I didnt find "the right guy" until I was in 9th grade and me and him have been together since but that is like a 1 outta 1 million chance because some people dont find the right guy until WAY after high school! I dont no what you did that makes you feel like your rep is sooo bad but it sounds like you have good intentions. Chill it out for a bit, be yourself be funny and enjoy life. As soon as you stop looking so hard maybe you will find hes right under your nose.

When my husband and I were first married, he promised me that if we ever had children, he would get out of the army. Two children later, he still hasn't gotten out.
The army has ended up being his life. He loves his job and has informed me that he is never getting out. He feels like his country needs him. I think this is very selfish of him to break his promise to me. The children barely know who their own father is. I feel like a single mother.
While he was in Iraq the second time, I wrote him a letter telling him I couldn't take it anymore and I was filing for divorce. I told him when he got back that I did not mean what I had said and that I was just going through a hard time with the pregnancy. Now three months after the birth of our second child, he is going back to Iraq.
I really do not want to leave this man. I love him dearly; he is my husband and the father of my children. My parents went through a divorce when I was a little girl, so I know how traumatic it is for a child.
It's hard for me to fight with him over this. The precious time he is here, I do not want to fight with him and bring up this issue. I want us to be happy with our time together and act like a family when he is here. I do not want him leaving to go to Iraq thinking that his wife might leave him. But sometimes, I feel like this relationship is just too difficult to take anymore.
What should I do? How do I cope with this? (link)

I completely understand being seperated from your loved one because of the military. All the males in my family (including my fiance) have joined and gone away for at least 6 mnths. When your husband comes to visit dont put off important things just because you want to pretend to be happy because it will just make matters worse. Yes, have family time but when the kids arent around ask him to sit down and have a serious talk about it with you. Tell him you dont want to argue but this is effecting you dearly. You cant just act like a family all families argue and have problems. Be real with him ask him how he feels and tell him basically what you just wrote. He should consider everything greatly and come up with an answer after a while but most likely not right then. If he loves you and wants to continue to be in a family with you then he will make the right decision.
If he does NOT make the right decision then try counseling or anything that you think could help you both comprimise into something that doesnt end up in a divorce. My sister is my guardian and she told me last year that if my grades arent great then im going to a christian school..Now my grades havent been great and now i have to go but i realllllly dont want to.. so how can i convince her to let me stay in my school?.. this christian school is very small and has a really strict dress code! Ask her to give you another chance, seriously make an effort to bring your grades up before the end of the semester then if you dont then she can move you to a christian school.
try studying with a group of friends at your house like a study party or something. have all your friends bring a snack and take turns helping each other out. afterward watch a cool movie then you make studying easy and fun.
if that doesnt work christian school is seriously not that bad the girl clothes are kinda cute and when you get to go to public school it will be soooo much easier.

Hi everyone!
I feel terrible. Allow me to explain. I'm Todd, and I'm 15. A friend of mine (female) was cutting herself and that she was really depressed. I went to the counselor at my school to make sure that she didn't do anything hurtful (like suicide).
When she came back the next day after I told the counselor, I found out that she was on a new anti-depressant: Zoloft.
On Friday, I found out that the principal called her down and said that she wouldn't be allowed back in school unless she had a note from her psychiatrist. She told me she might be out for a while. :-(
Some of my friends said I shouldn't tell the counselor (on the day before I told the counselor), but my parents and several people said that I should. I was pretty nervous, and I didn't want her to commit suicide or do anything terrible.
I feel terrible, like I made her go away. ;-( She's not sure when she'll be back, but I feel like I committed a crime or killed someone. :-(
I'm also afraid of what my friends might say when I go back to school tomorrow. Most of all, I feel terrible since I won't see her, and I don't know how long I won't see her either. :-(
Any comments, advice, please feel free to say so.

I think that you made the right decision, you were only doing what you think was best for her. She could have really hurt herself and believe me you would have felt worse if you didnt do anything about it and she passed away from it. When you go back to school tell people who talk about you to mind there business hold your head up high and go about your day. Try and get in touch with her or check back with the guidance counsler for updates so you wont feel so bad.

A few years back I tried those crest whitening strips. After a few tiresome weeks of having the crap on my teeth, I noticed some changes, all except for one tooth.
One of my teeth are capped. So I read the crest white strips box and it says "DOES NOT WHITEN CAPS." That's absolutely perfect. I have a very off colored tooth. As gross as it sounds it's actually kind of yellowish and I'm extremely embarassed about it.
I don't smile or anything becuase of it. I don't know what can all whiten caps or if brushing more with some whitening toothpaste will help at all. So to those of you with capped teeth, hopefully you can help. (link)

14/f.....i just met a new friend named Kate..i've got to know her and she's really nice. she liked this one guy named Phil a few weeks ago but claims she doesn't like him anymore...but you she still sort of does u kno...1/10..anyways i sort of like him now(even though ive never talked to him really; i just think he's really cute). so would it be wrong to start liking him publicly??? and i dont really want to ask her if its ok b/c i am afraid it will ruin our friendship. what should i do??

dont make that mistake its like an unwritten girlfrnd rule never date a guy your grlfrnd likes/used to like/ kinda likes etc. your not even sure you like him really have you thought about just being friends with him and her. if she decides to bring back old feelings and you still like him then your feeling would be hurt and if you decide to like him and she still has feelings then she will be hurt just dont do it.

My mother just recently died from lung cancer. She was just diagnosed on Sept. 15th of this year and she passed away on October 28th, 2005.
My boyfriend of several years had already told his spoiled rotten, self-centered, selfish daughter that she could have a Halloween party before the incident with my mother came up.
Instead of being here, supporting me, helping me make the needed arrangements and just being a shoulder to lean on, he decided it was more important to help out with his daughter's Halloween party, because everybody knows "Courtney" comes first....no matter what!

I had a party when I was younger and i only had a few people (very few) but because i was around people that wanted to have fun I didnt even care that i didnt have the 100 people I invited. Try having a few snacks like chips and soda if you have a little extra try apple cider. Its really good but a little more expensive then just cola. Ask some of your friends to come and bring there friends bring there favorite songs have be prepared to have a good time. As far as a guest list goes think of the people you know like to have fun but dont take it to the extreme. You should have a totally awesome party just be natural and go with the flow.

okay...
first of all wash your face. You want to have a solid clean base to begin with.
next- moisturize with a lotion (no perfumes) to make your make up last
guessing that your a little younger i would say for that particular outfit go easy on the make up you can easily pull of the look with tinted lip gloss and maybe some mascarra if your a blonde or light haired person. make your outfit dont let it make you
to top it all off- put on a beautiful smile
dont forget! wash your face when your finished use face cleaner and if you use waterproof mascara then use a little baby oil or something oily on a paper towel and gently pinch your lashes but dont pull your eyelashes out!

I am a sophomore in high school and in love with dance. I am currently on my school drill team and I also dance for a studio that I've been at for about 7 years.
My parents have recently noticed a drop in my grades because of dance. I'm usually an A student with an occasional. But, for the past 2 grading periods (the only 2 of my sophomore year so far) I've gotten C's. To some of you that doesn't sound bad but I don't get Cs...ever. I care about my grades very much and so do my parents.
And that brings me to my problem:
My parents aren't making me quit dance but they are making me choose between my dance studio and my school drill team.
I can't quit my studio because I've been there for what seems like forever and I love it too much. I've made so many friends and I can't imagine not dancing there.
But, I also can't quit my drill team. It's what keeps me sane in school. Plus I love belonging to a group that is looked up to at school. If I quit this, I won't be able to rejoin or retry out for the rest of my high school years. Once you quit, you can't come back.
I have until Wednesday to decide because if I do end up quitting drill team, I have to give my coach a 2 day notice before the next football game. What do you guys think?

This sounds like a serious personal choice you have to make. Any answer that anyone says you might look down on and say the automatic other. Try thinking it through, looking at what may look better if you plan to go to college or what maybe easier for you to maintain with your school work and everyday schedule.

Ok. I'm 14 and I resently had sex with a guy I had never met before. He was around 21. I have rented a book over being pregnant and I have all the symptoms. I took the pregnancy test and sure enough I am. Well anyways I don't know who he is and i'm really scared. I don't know how to tell my parents and I want him to be there when I tell them! Also my advice would be to seriously sit down and have a talk with your parents. Tell them whats going on. Like someone else said I DO NOT recommend you getting an abortion (I consider it a form of murder) your old enough to no what sex is and what happens when you do it. If you give the name of the area your in I could help you find a place you can go for help. If you dont feel comfortable with that then you might want to just talk to your parents about that. a promotional strategy is something that you use to increase sales. promotional means to promote an idea and strategy is how you do it. so an example would be the 7up doll on the commercial. he is the newest promo strategy for the company because its catchy funny and really easy to remember. hopefully this helps

ok,me (Amy, 13), and a friend just got over a fight (her friends who are very popular, said that I said some stuff about her, but I really didn't say it and her friends said she shouldn't be my friend because they don't like me and so she broke the friendship) well we got over it about a month ago and the fight lasted for about 2 months. Since then she apoligized and said she didn't know who she was without me being her friend, we used to be the best of friends but ever since that fight, even though she apoligized, we don't talk as often and aren't as good of friends anymore. I don't know why since she was the one who apoligized and wanted to be best friends agian, but now she doesn't talk to me that often, I am willing to be best friends agian, too.
