I was waiting in the hallway with the other jazz band people to start our sectional class. We have to wait like an hour, so we sit there and drink the free sodas we get from the teachers who feel bad for us and listen to music. So this one guy was looking through my friends phone, and came across a name with over 200 texts messages sent to it; and this name with over 200 texts messages to it happened to be a huge crush of mine. The person who had been looking through my phone annouced that my friend sent a lot of text messages to this guy, and we were all laughing and I was saying "ooooooooh!!" . But then my friend pointed at me and said loudly "You have a crush on him!!" and then I think it got quieter. Then I started babbling, saying I didn't have a crush on him, and I could feel my face turning bright red. I was fully aware that the hallway was full of my crushes friends. After that the conversation shifted, and I realized how hurt I was. That friend, who blurted out my crush, is my best friend and we tell everyything to each other. And we pinky swear (or pointer swear, because my pinky hasn't bent right since band camp) that we'll never tell anyone about anything we want to keep private, like our crushes. And she completly broke our promise! We both tried pretending it never happened after that. But a half hour later, when I was getting up to go to my sectional, she pulled me over and said "I didn't mean what I said", and I got up and responded, without looking at her, "You still said it". She then called after me "And then the drama begins!" After my rehearsal, as I was packing up, she waved and playfully bumped into me, but i just ignored her. When I got in the car I saw that she had sent a text soon after she blurted out that crush apologizing. I responded with a long text explaining that it matter whether she meant it or not, what mattered is that she said it in a room full of his friends. I then told her she needed to fix her mistake, so she said she would convince my crushes friends that I didn't like him.
Should I trust that she will follow through?
How do I forgive her?
How do I see my crush tommorow in homeroom?
Should i start being more careful around my crush? (link)

The following statement is a opinion;
DON'T HAVE HER COONVINCE HIS FRIENDS YOU DON'T LIKE HIM SILLY! If you do like him, and he thinks you don't - you'll lose all chances with him. Generally guys figure there's a 50/50 chance whether you like them or not. If you illiminate that chance incorrectly, the guy won't even think anything of you. Little to girls know (I only know because I hang out with guys and have like no female friends) that guys think about going out with every girl they are friends with. And decide if it would work out (and ask their friends sometimes). If you have it put out that you don't like him at all, he'll automatically take you out of the list of maybes. If he hears this as a rumour, he may either ignore it or think about being with you more. And put more thought into the hypothetical date with you. Which may heighten your chances with him. About facing him, go on like it doesn't matter. Like it was never said. But during class see if he pays more attention to you than usual. And many times guys only tell guys a girl likes them (when it's said like what happened to you) is if the guy was thinking about it already - otherwise it can get a little annoying. Guys don't like a lot of He said/she said drama. And no, don't be more careful around your crush - you'll be seen as acting weird, which you deffinately don't want. And yeah, forgive your friend. But if things don't go well with your crush - put her through a LITTLE hell first. But don't stoop to her level. Signs this guy is putting serious thought into dating you are looking at you more often than usual, smiling a lot. In the hallway between classes you see him more (he doesn't have to talk to you, but if he seems to be everywhere - that's good!) If he confronts you about it, watch him while he talks. his lips - are they serious, a slight smile, or a cocky grin? Is he looking at your lips while you talk? Is he focusing only on you? He he turned towards you, full on? You don't have to tell him "YES I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU!" nor lie and say you don't. Ask him slyly, "what do you think?" and see how he responds. Tell him how your friend was just picking on you and trying to make you blush (not really a lie, but hints that you don't like him). Watch if his face falls or not. If it falls, he probably likes you. He may catch that you didn't deny it, not many guys do but there are a few. If he catches it, does he get really happy about it? If he does, it's probably not becaue he's proud of himself that he caught that. Just go with the flow, see what happens. You never know - this could be a good thing (: Feel free to ask if you need more help. Good luck.

they say life is a gift.
they also say the world is cruel.
how is it a gift to be living in a cruel place?
(link)
|
To be alive is a gift, because it is better than to be murdered or dead. And the world is said to be cruel because of the people living here, and the hard choices in life we must make. Nonetheless, there are days where you are simply happy - that is the gift. Remember, too much good is bad. And if it's always good, you'll take it for granted. You have to endure the bad times, so even a moment of good will make it worth the hurt and will put a smile on that face.

Hi!
I was wondering what currently the driving age was for people. I have heard so many different theories. I live in MA. I heard that at 16 you could drive, and at 15 1/2 you could got to drivers ed and earn a permit, but then just recently I heard that you couldn't even enter drivers ed until you were 15 nine and nine months. So, if you actually understand what I'm trying to explain, would you please tell me what the current policy for the age someone is eligible to enter into drivers ed, earn their permit, and are able to drive by themselves?
Thank you!

Sky,
Actually, you can start drivers ed before you are fifteen and a half. But you can't get your "tempts" to go behind the wheel until fifteen and a half (if that's incorrect, your drivers ed teacher will tell you the actual age for where you live). Good luck.

Hey guysss, I'm curious as to what you guys think is the best kind of cover-up. I don't really have acne, but I'll get random pimples and need a nice type of cover up that will make my face seem less red and well pimpley. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!! (link)

Almay clear complexion makeup.
not only does it cover it up, it helps to get rid of it as well. Good luck.

I don't have time for a shower in the morning, so I take one before bed. And sometimes I'll wake up and my hair is frizzy. Is there a quick way to bring down the frizz????
(link)
|
blow dry your hair (cold setting not hot) and make sure your hair is COMPLETELY dry before going to bed. in the morning, if needed, use a little detangling spray and comb your hair (or wet your comb before combing, so get your hair damp - which should be dry before you leave). If your hair still isn't working, let me know. Good luck.

i rly dnt like mii name, can any1 help me?? mii name is crystal but i want a rly nice nickmane...prefebly emo and dark....??? (plz dnt mind mii spelling) (link)
|
Well, do you want the nickname for what your friends call you kind of thing? If for when you go by, have your friends decide. If for an Email or something, use Xs and play around with your name. Ask a friend to help even. It's more fun that way. If you're truly stumped, use google for *ideas*, but for it to be truly emo - you've got to think of it yourself. Be unique and have fun with it. Good luck.

I have a really hard time getting up in the morning, and alarms don't always work. Help!! (link)
|
Have someone come in and turn on your light with your alarm clock, and have the clock on the other side of the room really loud. Maybe use multiple (cell phones have alarms and so do some Ipods) and have them all on different parts of the room.
If you're still having problems, let me know. Good luck.

I need something light and pretty to keep a nice smell around me during the day. Any cheap sprays or deodorant reccomended for a 14 year old?? (link)
|
for about two dollars, you can get suave kids detangling spray. (I use awesome apple haha). You can fix your hair, and it smells really good, I use it as perfume (I've literally gotten compliments that I smell good). just spray yourself (best part, you can use half the bottle and still not smell over baring or anything). It's excellent - for any age.

theres a girl at my school who i used to be good friends with at the beginning of the year. its my first year at a new school, so i was making friends. one day, she decided to flip on me, and cuss at me, calling me all these horrible names and trying to offend me. although, it didnt bother me too much, just the fact that she was picking on me. it stopped for a little while, and i talked to other people, and just made more friends. yesterday she writes on my facebook wall accusing me of telling another girl that she was talking bad about her. when i NEVER did such a thing. i have no reason too, why should i talk about someone who i have no desire to like? but, then today, she keeps bringing it up and calling me all these rude things. im friends with a lot of her friends, so i sit with her at lunch. not next to her of course. i know i shouldnt be scared to stick up for myself, but i am, and im usually not like this. if she says something to me in school tomorrow, should i say something back, or just ignore it? people tell me to ignore it, which is what i did for the first time it happened, and it seemed to go away, but, i dont want her thinking im super nice and will let her walk all over me. when she was rude to me over facebook, i was rude back. i think its just when im in person.
anyone have any ideas or advice on what i should do about this situation? please dont say "be friends" because we both really dont like eachother, but this whole thing is about something so pointless. (link)

Many girls in high school are catty, hopefully she'll get over it. But until then, take a deep breath and tell her the truth. That you didn't do it, and that you have no desire to do it and that whoever said you did was a liar. And if you wish to go a bit further, you can tell her how immature she's being and that she should grow up and stop being a stuck up catty bitch and to grow up. You can practice saying it over and over in the mirror or something, and have people you trust with you when you do it - to help you from feeling scared. Good luck.

My grades are slipping, I can't figure out why. I need some ways to stay organized and on task, good study techniques, how to keep focus during class, and get things in on time.
Thank you!! :] (link)

do homework, instead of check your email. If you have troubles with homework, have a friend help you (as long as you won't joke around more than accomplish anything). and in class, maybe have a little snack to help focus. and get enough sleep with a little caffinee in the morning, and you should be good to go (: let me know if you need anymore help. good luck.

So I want to text this guy, but I don't know how to start a conversation. We usually talk on Saterdays after I have tournaments, but now the seasons over and we have nothing to talk about!
How can I start a conversation without coming of as creepy.
Also, what could we talk about.
I kind of like him and I know he is interested in me but doesn't really like me. Hopefully, YET!! So anyway, what to sayyy!!
thanks@ (link)
|
You can start with the normal conversations people have;
hey, hey. sup, nm you? nm.
and move on to something like what you been up to? or how something like that. hey, he might even come up with a topic (:
don't let logic bring you down, just wing it (: you talk to your friends with a well organized list of topics, so don't do that with him. Talk to him like he's just another friend, especially if you want him to be more ;) relax and just go with the flow. good luck.

I'm a 15 year old female physically active with very soon-to-be 18 year old guys. One is a fuck buddy who raped me at age 14 but for some reason after it all happened I was too confused to leave. The other's my good friend. They're both 18 in less than a month. Is this illegal and, if so, am I putting either of them in any danger?
thanks (link)
|
Actually, either way it is illegal - if you get caught, you'll get in trouble. But if they are eighteen and you are still active - it is seen as rape (whether you say yes or no) in the court's eyes, and they will get into a lot of trouble.
Also, do you really want to stay with a guy who has raped you? You don't neccissarily have to report it, but I think it would be a good idea to leave him (and report it if he won't leave you alone - he can't threaten you with anything except physical, because he would be the one that would get into trouble). It's completely your choice though, that's simply my opinion - it's your life though. good luck.

I have a really hard time keeping focused when I'm doing homework...I always end up on the computer doing whatever and then I'm cramming in homework late at night. Any method to keep focused?? (link)
|
Do your homework where you won't see the computer (put a blanket over it if you have to). If you like, you could have some snacks with you - so you'll focus more on eating than on your urge to go on the computer. Practice good restraint, and show yourself you can focus on more than facebook google and youtube ;) you can even have little rewards (for completing all of it, maybe even small ones for each piece you complete. I.E. finish maths, get a treat. finish history, get another treat). But if you keep this habit, it might not be good (unless you use fruits or veggies) so when you think you're ready, it might be a good idea to test youself without the treats (there's no treats in the real world) so get the focus, then lose the crutch (like riding a bike). You can do it! Good luck.
