Hello Alexandra. I think it was completely inappropraite for you to go on my advicenators and submit a question about Jake. Honestly, you do not care what my opinion is on this. I'm not too confident with walking up to people and starting conversation...

It is so much easier to talk to people if you have something in common with them. It gives you something to talk about until you get to know the person better. If you go to school together try to talk about that,work, music, even the weather can be good conversation starters. If its a guy, maybe a little light flirting! :o lol.

Napster is a good, legal music downloading service. It cost $9.95 a month and $1 per song which is more expensive than ITUNES. I would recommend just getting ITUNES at www.itunes.com because it cost $1 per song and no pre-set monthly fee. Their are also various illegal downloading services, but I would not recommend them for the simple fact that they are illegal. They also can bring many viruses onto your computer.

It might be allergies. A lot of people get allergies during the summer. Go to a local drug store and get OTC allergy medicine or to your doctor and get perscription allergy medicine - (Assuming you have allergies!)

ok i just got back from my 5 day cheer camp and we stunted almost 24/7 and i am really sore! i've taken advil to try to get it to go away but it doesn't seem to be working! i can barely walk and pick things up its so bad! what are some good ways that you guys use to help the soreness go away? thanx! Hey -- good luck with your sore muscles!
-Ibuprofen helps inflammation
-Ice the sore areas for about 20 min. once every hour.
-Stretch the sore area.
-Take a warm bath.
-Eat a lot of protein. (It will help build up the muscles.)
-Dont over do it - lay low and rest for a few days.

I used proactive and it didnt work for me, but i know someone who really likes it. If you do end up using it make sure you use it all the time (morning and night) dont skip! lol.

It also depends on what types of people are gunna be there. If your going to have all crowds skaters,preps,metalheads,punk rockers,ghetto/rap people than mix up the music types. I cant give you any nursing specific types of tips. Just remember, dress nice, sit up straight and look presentable. Be friendly and polite. GOOD LUCK! I'm sure you'll be ok - dont stress!

DO NOT HANG OUT WITH HIM! I dont want to sound like your 7th grade health teacher talking about how people online can change their idenity, but its true. You dont know who the person really is. They can say they are a 17 year old male from Ontario, google a picture of an attractive 17 year old and pretend to be someone they arent. They can lure you in by observing how teens talk to each other on other my spaces etc. and kidnap you. Even if this person is really who they say they are it is sooo dangerous. heyy i have mild acne and im allergic to alot of antiobitiotics so my doctor gave me this whole pamphlet on a pill called ACCUTANE, it supposed tot stop your oil glands or something, does anybody take it? how well does it work clearing up your acne? what side effects do you experience, because it is supposed to be very dangerous! any indo would be great - im undecided if i should take it or not! thanks =] (link)

Hey! I went to a dermatologist last month and I also got a big binder thing on accutane. I did some research on it, because at first it seemed like it had too many side effects than it was worth. After researching though I decided im going to get it. =) From what I understand, it can make you have mood swings. If you feel sad, or different than usual tell you parent or doctor. Also, it dries out your lips. I've heard from almost every source that it gets worse before it gets better. For me, I think thats going to be discouraging but in the long run it will be worth it! - coaching (soccer ref. asst.coach for a sport you play)
*Another way to make money is collect a bunch of coins you have laying around and go to a coin star machine (i dont know where you live, and im not sure if they have these everywhere). Coin star machines give you cash for the coins you put in. You'd be suprised how much money you can make! Usually they are in grocery stores.

I think that you really need to tell your mother or another trusted adult. If you try to hide it she will eventually find out because you'll start showing. Then what will you do when you have to go to the hospital and deliver the baby? I know it will be hard, but you have to tell someone. Maybe an older cousin? aunt? family friend? It will probably be the hardest to tell your mom so telling someone else first might be best. Keep in mind that if you want to go the abortion route (sorry to bring this topic up if your sensitive to it) than you need to tell someone so it can be performed before you are too far into your pregnancy. Today I was at my doctors office and I was looking at this bulletin board with a bunch of articles on it. Their was one article about how a University conducted an experiment and tested bug sprays. It said REPEL bug spray was the best out of all of them! Good Luck with those bug bites! -- Isabel

You can buy Band-Aid brand Blister-Block band-aids. They are cushiony band-aid type things. They work well and stay on good. I'm a figure skater and I get blisters from my skates sometimes. I highly recommend them. =)Good Luck! -- Isabel

I had something about this about 2-3 months ago.
I have this huge cat scratch on my nose & its just in 2 lines... I think its scared... but I was wondering how I could get rid of this scar & how long it would take?

If the skin is already healed and it is a scar I recommend using Mederma. I got stitches on my face and I got a scar. Mederma worked really well. I put it on a few times a day when I got a chance for a few months. You can buy it at a drugstore.

2 days ago me and my sister were running outside in my uncles back yard and i ran around her and i stepped on a 2 1/2 inch rusty bolt and it went 1 inch *or more* in my foot and i had to go to the hospital. well now im back home and i have no crutches or a wheel chair or anything and i really want to walk around my house but when i hop on my good foot it makes my ribs and knee hurt too much does any one know a way for me to get around until i get crutches?

I broke my foot once (it was on the edge of my foot),and before I got crutches I walked on my heel. Try putting most of your weight on your good foot and put some pressure on the heel of your injured foot. I'd try to avoid walking, but if you must try that! I have trouble falling asleep sometimes .. the best thing to do is try to watch a movie. Dont watch a movie you really want to see because you might get caught up and not be able to fall asleep. Watch something you've seen before and maybe you'll doze off. If you really cant fall asleep I once heard benadryl (for allergies) knocks you out! lol. PS: If you sleep in all day then try to go to bed at a normal hour, you'll probably have difficulty sleeping - avoid doing that unless you can go to bed later. =) Hope I helped. Good Luck! -- Isabel
