Haha, no one is going to be inspecting your nose and evaluating its size; in fact no one cares about the size of a nose.
If you want the peircings, dude, go for it. It will look as hot as a bro.

This is pretty long, I have a lot of things I'm needing some help with here. If you aren't ready for a bunch of insecure teenage rambling, turn back. :)
Well, I live in a town of maybe 10,000, which by some standards is small, but my folks are looking to move to a town that's in the hundreds when it comes to population.... That's a big jump.
I'm a 16 year old girl, born and raised in the "country" part of the city, but I've always been half and half. My friends are city, my family is country. I'm like a hybrid. And because of that, I don't have a clue how life will be for me in what some have called "red neck paradise."
I speak kinda country and own old, hand-me-down plaid shirts, yet I wear Chuck Taylor's.
I listen to all kindsa music, not just country.
I like the outdoors, I wanna hunt, yet I have no talent for shooting a gun, and because of that I can't protect myself so well in the woods so I'm always inside.
I like sewing and cooking if that counts for anything, but I just.. I don't know. I don't even really know who I am, but I'll be moving to some small town full of people who've led a life with one another that I've never experienced--farm life. Don't get me wrong, I've grown up with a garden and we used to have chickens before the dogs got to 'em, but I've never rode a horse (If only we'd had the money when I was younger, I've always wanted to..) I've never been within three feet of a cow...
I just don't know how I'll fit in. It's like on the surface, at first glance, people there might think I'm not so different from them, but get to the meat of me and I have no experience in activities that are their life, and some activities they may find fun, ya know..?
At church my youth leader says she finds me to be the kinda girl that could fit in just about anywhere, but my brother says I'd have a time of it if we moved to some small southern town because I'm so "different." Not bad, just different..
..I don't even really know what I'm asking for here. Sorry it's so long, I'm just hoping someone, even just one person, will read this and get a clue of what exactly it is what I need help with! xD Haha. Have a nice day. :) (link)

Well first of all, ALL teenagers, no matter where they're from, how they talk, or the way they dress, are still trying to figure out who the hell they are. Believe it or not, your new peers are going through the excact same thing as you are.
Now, I live in a small town where everyone knows everbody and thier mama. Whenever someone that is even the slightest bit "new" or "different" shows up in town, we FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM. You will stand out in a good way, I promise.
Don't worry about not having the same "experiences" as everyone else. That will make you oh so much more interesting. People will want to hear about your past experiences in exchange for taking you through theirs.
So stop stressin girly. You're gonna make it, and you're gonna love it.

I've always claimed to be a Christian, and I do know some basics like everyone does.
However, for the first time tomorrow I am attending Sunday school and a service. In the past I had just prayed and the like at home. I'm honestly a bit scared, because I know I don't have as much knowledge as I should. It's so hard for me to remember everything.

well in there, there is the cutest chadelier. well it standup like a lamp but the top looks l;ike a chandelier. it is made of plastic and you can see through it. it is adorable.

Hello!

1.) my eyes are big (which i like) but they are green, most peopel say they like them but i dont. so i would like to know your opinions of green eyes, also what can i do to make them look prettier? i have long eyelashes that i curl too.
2.) im not huge, but a little overweight. school starts back in 4 weeks and i want to lose 15 pounds. i dont eat bad and i excersise a little less than what i should but when i had a excersise routine for 9 weeks straight i barely got any results. can anyone help me? is there any secrets or fashions that are cute that make me little smaller?

They're are many ways to make your eyes look stunning.
Play with eyeshadow. You should avoid cool colors and stick with deep colors. Purples, Golds, Bronze, and Browns compliment green eyes and make them stand out more.

16/petite, assisting nurses, might be a waitress, might help with recreation, and might need to bend down to clean doors, etc. I obviously do not have a scrub (which is why I'm working in the first place) so of course I need to wear something appropriate with no cleavage, tank top, etc.
I'm just hoping that the outfits you guys come up with is a bit of some clothing peices that I already own =/

You will look professional, but not overdressed.

Im female. 16. I always attract older guys because i look and act mature (as i have been told over and over again.) Lately there has been this guy, hes 26...thats right. 10 years older than me. i have been talking to him. only as friends, but i like to flirt. That's a toughie.
Older men date younger women for many reasons.
The sexual attraction, the risk, the passion, and the excitment. (Not to mention our healthy bodies and soft skin). Men also go for a younger gal becasue it makes them feel young again.
How to keep him interested? Just be yourself and don't try to act his age. He likes you for your youth.
I know many people who are in relationships with age gaps. It's hard and it has it's ups and downs like any other relationship. If you really want it to work out, then it will work out.
As for the sex, wait until your 18 so it will at least be legal.

So my moms is being ridiculous and not letting me wear eyeliner to school. I'm gunna be a sophmore ;'( and i do not even put hardly any on! she makes me so mad like i cant even have a discussion with her about it. She took it away out thin air. Like suddenly "u cant wear eyeliner" so my question is how can i make my eyes look good with out eyeliner. My style is kinda Vintage with a rock twist. Well first of all do not hide eyeliner from your mom, cause if she finds it she might take your other makeup away.
Eyeshadows by themselves work lovely. use lighter shades as a base (such as golds) and sweep darker shades on your lash line (such as browns).
Using white eyeshadow as a liner is another way to make your eyes pop. This is a bold look and i think it would great with your style.
Also play with colors that will make your green eyes stand out such as purples, browns, bronze, and gold.
Expriment with differnt combonations of colors to find what best suits you!

My life is a mess. I am wayyy to focused on boys and it's basically ruined so many things. I try to focus all my energy on cheerleading which is very time consuming but I can't seem to make my mind get off of boys. My ex, this new boy, my bff (whose a guy) that I might have feelings for but likes my girl best friend, this OTHER new guy... its ridiculous!! You remind me of my sister in so many ways. :)
She was obsessed with boys. Boys were her hobby. She would make a game where she would see how many boys she could date at once without getting caught. She was so boy crazy, she lost interest in everything else. Her grades dropped, she lost her job, she started fighting with her mom, and she lost a lot of friends on the way. Now she is 19, still in high school, living at home, trying to make up time lost.
True story.
Now obviously you don't want that life.
So what do you do?
It's great that you have cheerleading as your hobby to get your mind off of boys. Smart move. :)
Maybe find another hobby that can help take your mind off boys at home. Make some more girl friends to distract you, and try to spend less time with your guy bff, because that can only lead to trouble. You should spend some time alone and try to figure out what you want out of life and spend all your focus on trying to acheive goals that will get you closer to your ideal life.
Let's face it boys are everywhere. There's no way that you can avoid them. But do they have to be your number one priority in life? Boys come and go, and will always be around. So don't waste the time you have now on them. Your young and still in highschool, so focus on school, goals, cheerleading, fam, and friends, and put your man hunt on hold for a while. When your older and out of highschool, guys will be lined up to date you. Afterall, guys love an independent women. :)

i am 20 my ex bf is 21. we were together for the pass two years. we were on and off for those two years for various reasons. we broke up this febuary and tried to be friends which didnt work because we spent all day together, talked to each other more than our friends, and were intimate but just didnt label ourselve bf/gf. we completly stopped all of this in march.
during our relationship, he wanted me to change some things to better myself and "our" future at the time. examples: like a better job, or move out, be more comfortable around his friends and family. (i was a shy girl).
three weeks ago, i was the one who texted him two weeks ago. we had lunch and he asked how i was doing and how my life was going. i told him i had found a much better job, i wasnt even looking just came across it from a friend and was hired. i went on his dream vacation and to a basketball game of his favorite team. i am even more open to people i meet and less shy, thanks to him. after lunch i asked to be friends, he said he couldnt handle it. he could never introduce me to anyone as his friend because he still loves me and cares for me too much. he couldnt even be my friend on facebook because he would get jealous and look at my fb stats. a week later we decided to be friends, he was hesitate at first but agreed to be actual friends this time.
then i told him my plan that i might move out because i am fiancially set now. he freaked out on me and said he cant be my friend. he thinks im doing this just to get back or make him jealous. he thinks i didnt make myself better when i was with him because i didnt care about him enough. he knows that its spiteful and he should be happy for me but he cant be. he said that im going to be the perfect girl and i will be with someone else so we cannot be friends. then he told me. "i hope whoever you marry, you have learned to love." this might have been out of anger when he saw me with a guy two nights ago.
i did grow up and mature from when i met him two years ago. but i am not doing this to make him jealous or to get him back. we had a lot of issues that we needed to work on and i think we are better off single or not with each other for now at least. i do love him and always will. he has helped me mature in so many ways and i have told him thank you numerous times, thats why i want him in my life as a friend. maybe years down the road we could be together but not now.
i just want to be his friend and have him understand that i am doing this for myself more then anyone else. i dont want him to be spiteful either but i know i cant force it on him and he has to do it alone...any word of advice?

Congrats on all of your acconplishments!
I think it's great that you are living your life for you, and not some guy. You have accomplished so much on your own. Anyone can see that you improved your life for your benifits and not to make some guy jelous.
Everything happens for a reason. And it seems to me that from dating this guy you have learned a lot about yourself and what you want out of life. You have matured and you broke out your shell. This relationship was all a learning experience (as all relationships should be)for you.
It's understandable that you still want to be friends with this guy. Most people still have feelings for their ex after they break up, even if they are the one that ended the relationship. But, maybe it's time to move on... this guy does not seem like he is ready for a commited relationship yet. I mean he wanted you to change for him. If you love someone, you love ALL of them.. this includes their job, personalty, ect.
I can see why he does not want to be friends at the moment. He's jelous of your new life and angry he can't be completly involved in it. So what can you do? Make it clear to hime that you just want to be friends and nothing more.
Just be there for him as a friend. Treat him how you would treat any other freind your having problems with. Don't give him any speacial treatments. If he texts you, great. If he doesnt, oh well. Let him cool off for a while, and if he still doesnt apologized for his temporary insanity and want to be friends, well then move on girly. Find a new guy to spend your new life with that actaully wants to be freinds with you on facebook.

I had my first period on Jun 7, 2010. I am expecting my second period within the next few days. I am having the symptoms... cramps, I am crabby, and my boobs are really sore. Also... It's great that your keeping track of your period.
Kotex and Always Infinty are two great brands that you should try... Their overnight pads are super absorbant!
If your flow is heavy try using a tampon And a pad overnight. Or set your alarm for every couple of hours so that you can change your pad during the night.

So I'm italian, and I'm pressured by family/friends/media to have a tan because most italians have tanned skin.
I'm naturally light skinned (not pale) but I do tan easily. The thing is, I'm so tired of tanning..and I don't want to ruin my skin. And I hate fake tanning products! I tried it and it's so annoying having to waste my time reapplying each day. But, I feel like every guy prefers girls to have tanned skin; on TV all you see is tanned skin! I'm fine with my skin color overall. Do guys really care what your skin tone is? Does it matter if your just plain white or tan? (link)

when making desicions about how you present yourself to the world, you should ALWAYS do what you, and only you, feel is right. Always be yourself and don't listen to what your family and frinds and especially the media says. If they truly are your friends and fam they should love you just as you are... tan or not :)
Guys always perfer a natural beauty over someone who is fake and plastic. So, embrace your snow white skin and let your natural beauty shine! It will make you unique and you will stand out, in a good way.

Get out of the house and do something! find a hobby that you can do by yourself or with your friends. find a part time job to get you off your feet. somthing simple like dog walking or a part time job at the library. make a to do list of all the things that your thinking about doing and do them. start out with small goals and work your way up to bigger ones, rewarding yourself everytime you accomplish something... no matter how small it is! if your unhappy with your new body because of the weight you have put on, try excercising with a group of frinds that will motivate you and help you reach your goal. if things don't get better, maybe its time to see a pro?
