How do you get pictures from your phone onto your computer? I don't think I have any kind of cable... So I was just wondering. (link)

Depends on the service provider. Oftentimes they require you to send a picture text to your e-mail, and sometimes that's pricey (they could charge you one photo text for the send and one photo text for the reception of it, totaling two photo texts just for one photo). Others may have a special kind of cable you have to order specifically from the phone manufacturer. It's entirely possible that you can send an album to a network folder, which has an address online and can be accessible through the net. In any case, you're probably not going to be plug-and-play here, it could be costly and it could take time to download photos from your phone.

hi i think i pulled a muscle in my thigh and its been hurting for a few days now. i have a track meet this saturday and basically i need it to stop hurting ASAP. does anyone kno what i could do to make it better? please dont suggest buying prodcuts i have no money (link)

Massage it really well, put some ice on it, lift it up, and stay off of it as much as possible. Just save it for Saturday. Of course, the pain could fire up at the track meet, but that's just something you'll have to grit your teeth and bear. The best you can do is make sure not to tighten the muscle too much and keep massaging it and using ice - the cold constricts the blood vessels, allowing the muscle to relax well.

on my old computer(dont remember what kind) there was a game were you were a guy and there was a hallway of doors. and you had to open the door and use the object inside to escape the castle. all i remember was you had to use a mirror to read a letter but thats it. if anyone knows the name and where i can play it that would make me happy :] (link)

Interesting question; I'm not sure I've heard of that. Myst is of course still around, but that doesn't fit your description. I remember some old game that was similar called "Buried in Time," but again, you've narrowed this one down pretty well.

Frankly, the more your boyfriend likes breasts, the less he probably likes you. A true man respects his girlfriend. I'd never ask to see a girl's breasts. It's dishonorable. It simply means he'd like to do more than go up your shirt.

Well i get really shy around guys i like and i'm wondering if there are any ways i could try and become less shy because when i talk to a guy i like i find that i have nothing to say so it's awkward. I really want to be less shy...but another reason i dont get very close to guys is because i am 19 and i have never kissed a guy so i feel weird getting close to someone because i am scared to kiss them because i am scared i am going to mess it up. any ideas of what i can do to get over my shyness???? I'm about your age and have never kissed a girl. I've felt your pain. But don't focus on us being a guy, just talk about girl stuff... We'll pick up on it sooner or later. I've talked about cars with girls that were genuinely interested. From a guy's perspective, I said I bought a new car to one girl I met and she promptly wanted to show me her Dodge Durango R/T, finding out that I liked cars. We can be the same way - forget your talking to a guy for a minute and talk like you normally would to another girl, and don't just look at us as possible kisses. Just... talk. We'll talk back. And if nothing else we'll just smile and get the conversation rolling as a girl stutters and stammers.

I'm a guy. And supposedly all we do is run around screwing girls over. Maybe that's true with some guys, but frankly that's a generalization.
It can be soft, it can be rough. I'm not entirely sure about particulars; I've never done it before. But I know enough to know this - it is an intensely pleasurable experience. I would say save it for when you're married, and only for the person you're married to. Unfortunately that's frowned upon in these parts, because we're strange conservative Christian extremists. Not necessarily. To be able to have a great sex life, it's absolutely essential to having a guy who cares about you and wants you to have all of him. It's that kind of care that allows you to have this intimate affair completely guitless and happy. He doesn't just "put it up there and you both just lie there," a man becomes a part of you at that point, putting his full trust in you and you in him. That's why I encourage you to put it for the guy you want to spend your life with - so he knows that you're all his. It's extremely intimate and it will feel incredibly good to be in each others' arms, kissing during the act, touching, etc. But I can't say it will be much fun when you've got a baby on the way if you are NOT married. It's just risky.
That said, it's amazing. But I'm waiting so I can show my girl that I'm hers, personally. :-D

Only if you make it hurt. It's only mental. Going into nursing school I figured it would help to be able to watch myself getting shot so I could do it to other people. The more I watch, the more I realize "this actually doesn't hurt!"

First bit of advice since forever (I think I used to be a level 2 mod here at one point, way back before we had 3000 columnists). This one intrigues me a bit.
I'm a Christian, and interestingly enough I agree with the aforementioned advice. There's no specific evidence pointing to Christ's birth being on December 25; it is more likely that it was spring or summer. The December 25 date was pretty much set arbitrarily; I'm not recalling any pagan holidays.
Anyway, Christmas has lost so much of the original meaning that even Christians are not quite sure what they're celebrating. Atheists are just mostly caught up in the same commercialism that all the religious people are in, too.
If humans were not so hypocritical, Christians wouldn't be into all the commercialism (rather opting for a strict celebration of Christ's birth and nothing more), and Atheists wouldn't be celebrating it at all. But it's a psychological human tendency to do what everyone else is doing, and I'm guilty of it, as well.
