old game

on my old computer(dont remember what kind) there was a game were you were a guy and there was a hallway of doors. and you had to open the door and use the object inside to escape the castle. all i remember was you had to use a mirror to read a letter but thats it. if anyone knows the name and where i can play it that would make me happy :]

Interesting question; I'm not sure I've heard of that. Myst is of course still around, but that doesn't fit your description. I remember some old game that was similar called "Buried in Time," but again, you've narrowed this one down pretty well.

I think I know what you are talking about, but I don't remember the name either. Those sorts of games can be called "point-and-click games" or like "room escape" games if that helps. You can use those search terms along with "castle". They're the best!
